Hotel Erromardie Plage by Odalys

We very much enjoyed the 30 minute walk to city center where the restaurants are located. No view. Our ground floor room looked out onto the driveway. The nearby beach is not very clean. The area is dominated by tourtists staying ion the large nearby camp ground.

The bed is very bad.

The location. Also the ladies on reception were exceptional. No way to buy anything to eat or drink except by walking 20 minutes to store. They could provide a vending machine.

Door between the entry/foyer and the bedroom. There was a coffee machine in the foyer, so I could sit there with the door closed and have coffee and breakfast while my wife slept. The double bed was two singles on a double frame. That's never as good as a true double. One side of the bed had a dip in it that made it a little uncomfortable.

It is a great hotel, we loved our room with the ocean view. Everything worked well and the atmosphere was nice. Good breakfast.

Excellent customer service. Very clean rooms. Lovely pool.

First greeting by two young women at reception started us on a high, so welcoming and warm. One demonstrated how to use the bus system, which is very handy for getting to town. These two really set a positive tone for our entire stay. Just five minutes from Beach Erromardie, a lively site. Nice place to watch surfers, paragliders, food truck and fruit/vegetable stand across the road. Quiet, parkland setting. Bistros on beach. Minor point: the laundry is quite far back on property. I could have used a chair to sit and read while waiting. I appreciated an easy to use laundry on site.

Exceptional

The staff was very nice and the terrace was spacious with lovely views. There was underground parking and easy access to play equipment for our little one. The location was close to nice walks and the beach as well as a few restaurants. Excellent value and would certainly visit again. There wasn't much access within walking distance to convenience shops or groceries. Perhaps there are more options in high season! Camping site next door was loud, but they usually quiet down around 10-11pm.

Roomy, bright and a lovely balcony to sit on! No complaints.

Spaciousness and plenty of amenities

Comfortable bed, free underground parking, about half hour walk into town our room overlooked the main driveway into the complex but with the sliding door closed and aircon going it was quiet.

Staff were extremely helpful & friendly, always finding solutions for any of our requests. Location was very good - a short walk to Erromardie beach & about 30 mins walk to Centre of St. Jean de Luz. Shower head kept slipping down in the bathroom (although shower pressure itself was quite good). Double bed was effectively 2 single beds joined together - hard spot in the middle. Unfortunately, as we arrived in late September, the outdoor pool was closed (although we had some nice sunny days).

Near the Ocean, well staffed, parking underground. Beds very comfortable, shower was good. Mini fridge and coffee maker was nice too. And lovely restaurant on site. No view from our room.

Very well situated and absolutely spotlessly clean. Our room was bright, airy and had great views Absolutely nothing!

Everything Breakfast was a bit expensive and not included

Our room was fabulous. Lovely balcony overlooking the pool and with a sea view. Very spacious and airy, spotlessly clean and well appointed bathroom etc. Nespresso coffee was a lovely addition. The bed was huge and so comfortable. Had a fantastic nights sleep after a long drive. Nothing to dislike.
