Fantastic host excellent room and service highly recommend

I asked for an early breakfast as I had to catch a ferry and the lady was very helpful.

Breakfast was good - would be nice if it ran a bit later - finishing 9.15 am is quite early when on holiday! Pillows - they definitely need upgrading!

Not far from St Peter Port. There was nothing to dislike

Breakfast was great. Hearty full English option or toast and fruit if you prefer. Lovely swimming pool in garden setting. Very clean and quiet. Good central location close to beach. Nothing. It was a quiet guest house that suited our needs.

The breakfast catered to my needs & was so filling I did not refuel until later in the day after my tourist activities. The breakfast room was roomy with good space between tables. I made excellent use of the swimming pool (towel provided, thanks) which was always sparkling clean with sunbed, tables & chairs available. I enjoyed working on the communal jigsaw puzzle, when I was too tired to go out. The weather was extremely hot when I arrived & the hostess kindly provided a fan for my room, for my stay. Nothing

Pleasant

The bed was comfortable and the waiting staff, when I did manage to get ito breakfast on the last morning, were helpful. Breakfast starts too late and when this was pointed out no packed breakfast was offered until I saw one for someone else and then it was offered for the next day. The decor was old fashioned, the accommodation was cramped and corridors depressing. The car park was inadequate. And entrance very difficult to navigate.

The “Bed and Breakfast” was exceptionally clean with a manageress who worked exceptionally hard and any request was dealt with quickly. Celeste the manageress works entirely on her own including cooking breakfast at weekends with a delightful lady helping her Monday to Friday. Between the two of them they look after the property of 16 en-suite rooms. Our modern room was kept very clean. It was/is still being advertised as a ‘Hotel’ Outdoor swimming pool, Restaurant and comfy lounge and bar open 6p.m. - 10p.m, where you are invited to have pre dinner drinks from 6p.m. the bar closing at 10p.m. On arrival we asked about dinner, the reply from Celeste was she is no longer doing dinner as her chef/cook was on holiday and it was too much for her to do. We dicided to have a drink in the bar before heading out to find somewhere to eat only to find it deserted with a cloth over the draught lager and a note saying to ring the bell which we did. We were told the draught lager was no longer available as it was coming to the end of the season and was only offered one choice of white and red wine. Throughout our stay not one other guest used the bar as it was not very inviting although as said before kept very clean and tidy. The pool had the covers on our entire stay and the surrounding area did not look as if it had been attended too, once again not very inviting. The Restaurant, Bar and pool were the main 3 reasons we booked it. Because they were non existent, La Michelle cannot be classed as a Hotel, but look on booking.com and other websites including their the hotels own website all are still offered. Nice and quiet

The neighbourhood. The location near a busstop. The spacious room. When I arrived, there was no reaction of the owner to my 'rings for attention' or to my phonecalls. So I went to the neighbours. When the owner then came, she said that I didn't press 'the ring for attention' properly. She didn't tell anything about activities or gave me a free map of Guernsey. I didn't feel welcome.

Very comfortable and pleasant stay at La Michele. I have been a few times before and will definitely be back. Excellent value for money. Very good and friendly service from the owner, nothing seems ever to be a problem. Good breakfast to start the day. Very high standard of cleanliness. For the cost, nothing to dislike.
