Easy access to everything

Good location and good staf. The room was not clean and we even had to change the room due to a plugged drawing from the shower that inundated the room.

I truly enjoyed being amongst students. It really isn't a dislike... just information for fellow travelers... this stay is a little different than the typical hotel/apartment stays... Therefore there isn't a way to get a personal response to questions...I think... there is a message that will get pushed to you to check in online, but it isn't really necessary... I was stressed before arriving and just kept getting the same pre-programed message sent about online check-in... don't worry though... there will be someone at the front desk almost 24hrs.. And yes that rather non descript door by the green Resa sign is the entrance .. it's not locked... just push it open and you will see the entrance. Also... remember it is about about a 10 min walk to the center...in my opinion it is worth the steps for a more authentic experience.

We got to stay in one of the executive rooms which was an unexpected bonus. Clean, spacious and functional. The staff were very helpful even though there seemed to be a mixup with the reservation. A standard Breakfast was included which was welcome. Great location too!!

Staff were amazingly helpful and cheery. Okay breakfast. There was a minimal kitchen with a fridge in the lobby that we could use...electric tea pot too...vending machines. A bit remote but close to the river. The nearest supermarket a good walk down the hill and across the river. When you get to know the map it gets easier. Distance from the bus or train station. I walked way into town just to find some edible vegetables.

Breakfast was standard, very generous. There was a small kitchen with a fridge just off the games-room that was nice to store yogurts and other foods. I put bottles of water in the freezer that was so refreshing. The staff are amazing and fun when faced with language barriers...they don't give up. I was late by two days due to the wildfires shutting down busses/trains from Santiago de Compostela. I had to backtrack to Vigo (stayed overnight) caught a bus to Lugo then the overnight bus to Salamanca (3am). When I got to the residence Carmen was at the desk and by 4:15am she had me in a room...with minimal English and my minimal Spanish. Beautiful walk along the river and the Roman Bridge nearby. They have a small gym, I stretched there often. Finding fresh produce...the green-grocer was over a kilometer into the center and the supermarket down a hill around the corner and over a bridge a good two-kilometers. You have to walk as it is at the edge of the town. Outdoor seating/communal space would be great...they have room but no furniture.

A basic dorm room. Clean and functional with a private bath. Someone was always at the front desk. The bed is a little hard for my taste but some folks like it that way. Did not prevent me from sleeping. As a solo woman I felt safe. Great value for the money!

Interesting to stay in the same place as uni students - but they were super friendly and respectful. The bed was very uncomfortable and the breakfast - although free, was really bad

Great spot to stay for exploring lovely Salamanca. Basic student dorm room, but comfortable and clean. Also, laundromat on premises. Construction ongoing on floor below. Teeth rattling drilling.

The residence is well located. You can go to the city center and to the bus station on foot. The room was big, comfortable, and well heated. Although it is a student housing, it was very quiet. The included breakfast was good and welcome. A good option to stay in the city.

Nice place for a few nights. Not so far from my centre. Friendly reception staff.. Breakfast was very basic if you don't like sweet things early in the morning.

Enormous rooms, helpful staff, nice ambiance. This is a university residence primarily, so expect to see young students everywhere and know that the common areas are usually full. I enjoyed it. Know that the university and historic sites are a 15-20 minute walk away. Their are busses everywhere and you can tap your credit card to pay! The only thing that can use improvement is the quality of the breakfast. It came with the cost of the room, but it could have had more variety.

The room is very spacious and beds are very comfortable! We arrived early before check-in so the staff let us leave our bags at the front desk. Breakfast was included and we ate in the student dining hall. The selection was excellent. You will have much more food and options than any hotel or bar/cafe breakfast which is good for foreigners and pilgrims not used to the small breakfast in Spain. Short walk to the old city and to the Roman bridge. Excellent value!!!
