Dicey area, run down, not maintained. As a woman, I would not have stayed there alone, There were late night activities and very unsecure doors and locks.

It was OK for quick overnight on a road trip. Shower and bedding were clean, AC worked, hot water, no car theft, convenient location. However, the room was not in good repair and smelled like stale cigarettes. I was not comfortable walking on the floors barefoot owing to questionable cleanliness.

We came in. First room no shower handle. Hole drilled in shower? Clumps of black hair an blood on sheets. Went an asked to change rooms. Got into salem from the airport extremely late. Second room ... the smell was so bad an our feet stuck to the carpet in all three rooms. Went to the front asked to be refunded where the attendant asked if she could find us a room that was good. The third room was ok until needed to go to the bathroom an no toilet paper or holder an the towels where dirty. I can handle alot but honestly no... I went down told her to keep the money she tried an paid 200 for another room down the street. Do not stay here. Trust me.

We paid in full for a room and then the clerk wouldn't let us check in , very rude man.

The location was acceptable. Very worn out facility. The shower stall needed repair due to all the chips and holes it had. The bathroom door latch needed repair. A bit pricey for what we got. There were ants and bugs in the bathroom.

The front desk guy was rude. The room stunk. There were bugs in the bathtub. There were stains and graffiti everywhere. One of the beds was broken. We checked out immediately.
-
Well there was NO smoke detector in the room whatsoever looked like they plastered the hole where it was!! Ice machine was missing also!
-
The parking lot had a lot of homeless people sleeping and drinking in it. The manager was unreasonable and rude. Would not recommend this property

This is a place to stay for quick easy access and inexpensive.

My room was clean, as were the towels, sheets and other bedding. All of the plumbing worked well. The check-in guy was friendly and helpful. He let me see my room before I accepted it. The check-in sheet showed a price of $10 less than the price I paid on Expedia. The desk guy said that's because the hotel paid a commission. The I5 freeway adjoins the hotel and it is thus noisy, though indoors is nowhere near as bad as out on the balcony. My room was the 3rd one in from the freeway. Further away is probably better. The wall-mounted air conditioner was also noisy. Some might regard that as a plus. I didn't. I used ear plugs. The painted walls were clean, and the paint looked reasonably fresh, though the painters' workmanship was a bit sloppy. One side of the window curtain hung largely loose, making the curtain fail to fully obscure the window. I was able to cure that by reattaching two curtain hanger hooks. There was a microwave and a mini-fridge. No coffee maker. The office was locked when I left at 6am. I don't know whether there might otherwise have been coffee in the office.
