The eco-friendly, family-run Das Grüne Hotel zur Post - 100 % BIO enjoys a quiet location in the Maxglan district, a 5-minute bus ride from the center of Salzburg. For an additional charge, you are welcome to rent bicycles from us and charge your electric car at one of our charging stations. The rich breakfast buffet includes many organic dishes, homemade jams and cakes, tea from the Sonnentor brand, and a selection of vegan, lactose-free and gluten-free dishes. In fine weather, breakfast can be enjoyed on the terrace. The nonsmoking rooms are individually furnished and feature a flat-screen satellite TV and a bathroom. Free WiFi is available in public areas. Das Grüne Hotel zur Post - 100 % BIO uses a photovoltaic system to generate electricity and solar energy to heat the water. The remaining energy comes from a carbon-neutral pellet heating. The garden includes deck chairs and a quiet terrace. Guests can also relax in a herbal sauna and enjoy the free books and movies provided. A bus stop is located right in front of the hotel. Bus tickets are available at the reception. Salzburg Airport is 1.9 mi away.

The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was great! Like most European hotels, it did not have AC. Each room was equipped with a fan.

Clean and friendly. Very helpful in answering many questions we had about the city. We used public buses a lot and the hotel is right across the street. Several good places to eat very close. Excellent breakfast!!! No mini fridge or micro wave. Hotel is adjacent to neighborhood homes and we were woken up by people arguing at four in the morning which lasted over 45 min.

Clean, spacious, a/c, big bathroom, by the bus stop, only 10 min into the city. Parking available at extra cost. Appreciated the available apples and water at the reception Shower leaked slightly but not too bothersome

Great location - very close to bus stops and only about a 30 minute walk to the river. Very comfortable room. The staff was very nice. We didn't have breakfast, but it was all fresh and local.

The apartment is massive with four bedrooms and two bathrooms (one a half bath). There is plenty of space to spread out and relax and the rooftop sitting area is wonderful though the weather didn't permit us to use it. The house is well-equipped and there is a hotel on the ground floor that can answer questions and attend to needs. It's a ways from the city center, but the #1 bus stops right out front of the building so in 6-8 minutes you are downtown. Nearby there is a grocery store and some restaurants. We had no issue buying our own food and preparing it in the kitchen. All in all we were very happy with this place and would definitely return. Nothing

Comfortable beds, spacious accommodation Quiet off central location, friendly staff We could gather as a family in the dining room for a drink and a card game. Public transportation included in your room fees 10 minutes bus drive to the central square, bus comes every 15 minutes. No elevator to bring up luggage to second/third floor.

Unfortunately, the room is located in the ground floor with windows facing the parking, so there are constantly people outside the room. You have the option to keep the blinds down and sit in the dark or have 0 privacy. The interior looks quite old-fashioned as well, and the location is a bit far from the city center on a busy road.

Great staff! The breakfast was amazing (even for a picky eater). #1 bus stop right out front. There was not a refrigerator in the room.

We liked everything! The breakfast was rich and tasty. The room was clean and fancy. Super friendly staff. Bus station was literally in 1-2 minutes walk Everyting was good. I couldn't find any problems. We are very satisfied.
