The decor of the hotel is wonderful. Really like stepping back on time but also at the same time with all mod cons. Really hard to get right but they have. The staff were so good too. Always super helpful. The location is amazing. Central to everything. Breakfast was set up as a high tea which was a lovely little touch. Can’t fault the hotel at all. Absolutely nothing!

Hotel Goldener was the highlight of our trip. Location was excellent, close to everything and an outdoor cafe that was wonderful! First class from the minute you walk in…the hotel is beautiful, clean, and welcoming. Every single person was kind and helpful…we felt so spoiled! The room…simply no words to do it justice…such unique and high quality touches throughout, including music in the restroom, automatic walking lights, a make-up table, and the coziest bedding ever! We can’t wait to return! Absolutely nothing!

Great location. Comfy room. Breakfast is available and good but a full breakfast is very over-priced at 42 Euro, so we stuck with continental at 20 Euro.

Excellent location, good air con, very comfortable room and bed, lovely engaging staff, quaint building, never waited for a lift, excellent facilities they thought of everything. Food was tasty but sparse and my breakfast (eggs Benedict) was cold both days. Pillows were very soft but that's probably subjective to each individual.

Everything from early check-in to chocolates and fruit and turn down service (yes, they do that!), it was perfect! We felt special and cared for and it was lovely!
