Note that there are not cars to the place you must climb either about 200 stairs or take an elevator that cost about 5 euro per person!

Quiet Enjoyed the wine patio Showers weren't draining-unusable. No one mentioned elevator at Museum. No signage by stairways to direct to building. Staff was ready to leave for the day-thankfully we saw him.-did not received a code to get in

It could be pretty noisy but it would not deter me from staying there again. Everyrhing else makes up for it.

Quiet. Comfortable beds beautiful view Showers didn’t work- drains not working. No mention of elevator at museum. Had to ask for towels

I don't believe the location was accurately described. It was a grueling climb up over 100 stairs just to get to the location. Then inside there were more stairs. And the final thing that made me leave without staying was the fact that I couldn't get up the tiny spiral staircase, where the bunkbeds were located, whilst carrying my. A truthful indication of the location. I might be incorrect, but I believe I chose the location because it said it was 450 m from town Central. As an older person, I need to get up in the night to go to the toilet that would've also been quite tricky.

No towels provided and the pillows were flat and lumpy

Absolutely nothing The impossible trek to get there even if you use the elevator of the modern museum, the death trap stair case to room 10, the staff lied about calling me a taxi for 6 am, taxi never showed up and I had to walk thru the forest stair way all the way down this mountain costing me a canceled Uber because he couldn’t find me or wait for me to go down the mountain with all my luggage, you smell the restaurants Ruben sandwich from your room the whole day , you have to hold the shower button the whole time to wash, how does one wash their ass and hold the fucking water button at the same time?! If you arrive after dark good luck because there’s no lights and do I mention how they promised to call me a taxi for the morning and he never showed up after they guaranteed one for me because they said Uber won’t find the place but the taxi they would cal knows exactly where to go! Lies! Good thing I planed ahead a good amount of time so I could catch my train

Lovely property! The view was great! It would be nice if they offered towels
-
The view The reception is not good and the instructions are not clear. I’m confirming to check in about 8 PM and there is no one there in the middle of the mountain darkness, and the worst thing about it there is no respond when I try to call them.
-
spectacular view the hike and the noise when people goes up and down the stairs as u can hear them inside the rooms

If you are booking this hostel, be aware that due to its elevation it is not convenient to go back and forth between it and Altstadt. If possible, make a reservation at the restaurant downstairs for dinner, and then you will not have to worry about it!

The views from the hotel, and some of the rooms, are phenomenal. The price is very good for Salzburg. Everything was clean. If you're okay with a hike/400 steps to get back from the town, then you'll enjoy the quiet escape of the area. Having the restaurant right there is convenient. Bathroom facilities were mostly adequate. If you get the room in the very top of the hostel, the views are non-existent and it can get very hot and stuffy. The showers are difficult to use (you push the tap in to turn it on and have 5-10 seconds of water before you have to turn it on again). Could use another toilet or two. Just be aware, that unless you want to use the funicular a lot, then you'll be walking up and down 400 steps to get to and from town. So don't use if you aren't relatively fit.

Breakfast was excellent. I was pleased to have the company of a German family, both days. The room was comfortable, and warm. Shower was perfect. I can't think of anything.

Property was great. We knew there was a walk to get to it.

Breakfast was a satisfying cold plate, with a mix of meat, cheese, vegetables and bread, with coffee or tea. (Vegetarian option is available). The property is small, but rooms are of adequate size. A common room for writing and relaxing would be useful. The restaurant could conceivably be used for that, but it closes at 6 p.m. and dormitories are not always convenient, given the needs of different people.

The location was confusing to get too, and the room was tucked away in a hard-to-get area that was dangerous. However, the room itself was clean, but there is no privacy between beds. Making a better and more accessible staircase to the room would improve the experience. Additionally, clear directions to get to the property would've helped. Also, knowing that Uber's can't come all the way up would've been helpful.

Need fans with global warming. Good view. Food was good. Need to tell you you can take a taxi . My room was in the tower so a ladder basically to get to room.

Wifi did not work from our room

the best view ever! Great location- in the middle of the old town 350 steps to get there, no public transportation without these steps

The comfort of the dorm. The shower.
