Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten

The hotel and the room were comfortable and nicely decorated. The small, though adequate, bathroom meant that access to the shower would be difficult for a larger person or anyone with a disability. The location is very central: we walked everywhere. Very helpful, courteous and informed staff. The breakfast options were excellent. A little pricey but delicious. A small matter. We understood a charge of 60 euros deposit would be placed on my credit card. However, we were surprised that this was per night: 180 euros. This is not clear on the booking form. At this point in our lives it is not significant but when we were younger and poorer, it might have been an issue.

Like being on edge of town and easy location. Great bakery across the street and cheese shop.

Location and cleanliness were great Small room, no fridge, had to request tea kettle and no coffee cups. No AC. Check in was unnecessarily lengthy.

Everything was terrific - it was a great location, comfortable rooms and dining room, the breakfast was fresh with great variety. The staff is so friendly and helpful. I can’t say enough good things about my stay. Nothing

Lovely property. Renovation was very good. Due to the heatwave during our stay the room was very uncomfortable because the property doesn’t have AC. There was a single fan in the guest room but it did not help. The first day the staff provided complimentary water but charged us for bottled water when we asked for additional bottles. Considering the discomfort of our rooms a couple of cold bottled waters a day free of charge would have been nice.

No air conditioning

Fabulous, quiet location walking distance to great cafes, restaurants and the magnificent Mirabell Gardens and Palace. Beautifully decorated property, comfortable bedding and a room where you can open a window is such a bonus! Minor, but as a tea drinker a kettle in the room would have been nice.

Room was very nice and very roomy. Comfortable bed and nice to have a couch as well. Staff was helpful and very accomodating. Location was very handy and walking distance to many places! Street was a bit loud at times outside, ended up closing the windows to sleep.

Everything felt modern and new (I think the hotel is freshly renovated), and cleanliness was clearly a priority. They serve a great breakfast and the staff were wonderful people who were helpful and accommodating from start to finish. Unfortunately Salzburg was extremely hot during our trip and with no aircon or fan in the room, sleep was impossible. The bathroom is a pretty tight squeeze but did the job for a few nights.

We had a wonderful stay at Boutique Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten in Salzburg. The hotel was very comfortable, charming, and perfectly suited for our visit. A special thanks to Prodance at the lobby, who was extremely helpful, kind, and welcoming throughout our stay. Their assistance made our experience even better. We truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

We loved the cleanliness and freshness of the room, as well as the welcome chocolates. The staff were also super helpful and gave us lots of tips on where to best explore the city. I would’ve loved a kettle in the room. We were also unable to connect our phones to the tv (airplay) which was not ideal.

It was charming with great staff, great location and wonderful room!! Breakfast was very nice and I would hope to come back!! I enjoyed it all!

This is a lovely boutique hotel! The young man who checked me in was warm and welcoming. There was a sweet note in my room written by Meir with a sweet treat as well. Daily breakfast did not disappoint. I ordered off the menu for fresh, locally sourced items, all delicious. The service was so personal in a beautifully appointed dining room. I chose this stay at the last minute to have some quiet time before joining a tour group. All staff were helpful and attentive. Menus, Meir, Makena and Tevin made my stay one I will not soon forget. I am sorry to have taken so long to complete this review. I was away for sometime. I hope to stay again as Salzburg is now one of my favorite cities. Nothing! Everything was great!

What’s not to like - absolutely charming and beautifully appointed boutique hotel property in a great location. Pleasant and helpful staff - (great seafood just a cross the street) not large but comfortable rooms - delightful breakfast. Exactly what I hope for in a European hotel. Shower is tricky - don’t let the water run - I accidentally flooded the bathroom - but the manager on duty took care of the problem without complaint.
