Traditional European bed and breakfast. Film scenes for Sound of Music walking distance. If arriving by train take bus #1 to Brauhaustraß from the central station. Room on top floor was very hot. WiFi was spotty. Refrigerator not working.

Exceptional

Very friendly staff, a homely atmosphere. Delicious served breakfasts.

Very peaceful and cozy stay. The proprietress, Frau W, really makes sure you feel welcome. Very quiet, and wonderful breakfast. Easy access to city center and airport via bus. And not too far to walk either (which is nice if you're in Salzburg during a busy weekend). Occasionally the wifi would slow down a little, but it really was a very minor issue. I would gladly stay here again.

the hostess is lovely , communicates in basic English , room is spacious , clean , good breakfast included , bus stop around the corner. don't forget to ask for the tourist card for free public transport. had a little issue with Wifi in the room on the first day, but it was fixed.

This was a very relaxing stay in a spacious room kept very clean. A comfortable bed. Breakfast was very nice and the host was very friendly and helpful. It had a cosy and old fashioned atmosphere but this made it a great contrast to the hustle and bustle of central Salzburg.

We loved that it was outside of the old city and that it’s small; only 14 rooms. Rooms are a nice size with large bathroom; all extremely comfortable and clean. The owner is sweet and kind, very helpful; we loved her! The property has no AC and no elevator, HOWEVER, it was cool and rainy the three nights we were there so comfort was not an issue. My knees aren’t the best but I navigated the stairs slowly and made it up to the room quite okay.

The wifi did not work.

Nice spacious room room,comfortable bed.Also great to have a fan in the very hot weather!The breakfast was very good also with generous quantities of everything. Perhaps a location nearer to city centre would have been better for my needs but to be fair I should have checked before booking!In the UK there is a tradition in most accommodation to provide tea/coffee making facilities but maybe in Austria this is not the case?

The room was immaculate

The young lady and the older one were very nice very polite. The atmosphere perfect. The area is very close to the center on foot. Have Peny nearby . Also two buses to the center. n/a

Very old structure, I didn't appreciate the moquette in the room: there was a lot of dust that was breathed in, so much that we were unable to sleep and ran away a day earlier than expected. Not recommended
