Hotel Modus

Hotel is close to the city’s sights. The room was clean and bed was comfy. No AC. Happy we did not need it.

Location was great. It was relatively quiet even though it was close to a main thoroughfare. It was the hottest two nights I have every had. The room's climate control was non-existant. There was a ceiling fan, and another small fan. I did not sleep very well at all as there was no climate control.

The room was spotless clean. The bed was very comfortable. the location is ideal for seeing Salzburg. Where do I start? There was no air conditioning; just a ceiling fan to blow the 30 plus degree air around. Before arrival I thought maybe it was an historic building where regulations prohibit the installation of mini splits (heat pumps) like in Paris. No, it's new construction where a AC system could have been easily included or even added after. The communal refrigerator is the size one would see in a student's dormitory room (VERY SMALL) for 14 rooms. There is NO staff on site! As you spend the night sweating in bed and showering frequently they want 10 euro to change your towels and 20 euro to change bed linens.

No air cooling just fan above the bed . Choices are you get cooked or try to sleep by fan blowing

It was a great location in a quiet part of Salzburg. The staff were friendly and so hospitable! There is no air conditioning, and in the summer months, this is not acceptable for the comfort of the travelers. The fans offered made the room incredibly noisy and it never truly cooled the room.

We had a room with a window at street level (parking). Since there was no air conditioning, I can’t imagine staying there during the summer. Keeping the window open at night would not have felt very safe.

Helpful employees who responded quickly to inquiries. Room was very clean, bed was comfortable. Really liked the darkening shades. Would stay again.

Easy to find and parking available. They also have a nice little lounge and kitchen available for all. Decent location.

The room itself was great, nice comfy bed, great shower! The check in process was really straightforward. Also communal area was great and had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend! Nothing to say.

Location. Very close to train station (access from backside of station can reduce the travel time to Hotel) and walk distance to downtown. The bath room is very roomy. Our room is on second floor and partially ceiling is sloped. Need to pay attention when get out of bed on ceiling sloped side.

Ease of access, self service concept. The parking space and the insects at the bathroom.

Amazing location (near to central station and to multiple places to visit), great room with all facilities. Exceptional customer service. Maybe add a big mirror in the room.
