The location is great. Not too far to walk to the old town and to the station. Staff were all super friendly and incredibly helpful. The shared lounge / kitchen space and the washing facilities were also really nice to have available. Beds were comfy. Nothing

Ideal (as you'd expect from the name) riverside location with short walk along the river to the main city centre. The cool drinks in the fridge were a nice touch. The 'private' garden area was nice to sit out in and chill. Shame there was no bar or food apart from vending machines but given the location it wasnt a huge problem. The lack of TV's was also a surprise

This hotel is located on the bank of Salzach River, offering beautiful scenery right from your window. The rooms have more than sufficient storage space, making slightly longer stays comfortable. There's no breakfast, but kitchen facilities are available. Complementary fresh apples are welcome! Having said that, we had a bad experience with the cleaning staff failing to clean our room (even upon request) for 2 consecutive days. We eventually cleaned the floor ourselves after a long day of sightseeing.

Location fine. Helpful reception staff. Good size room. Clean. No breakfast offered. Close to a rail bridge, with a good deal of noisy traffic on it through the night Bed was strangely positioned along a wall, so one person had to climb over to get in and out. Bed frame came up to edge of mattress making it very uncomfortable to sit on the edge if the bed.

An affordable and well located place to stay in Salzburg. The staff were really friendly and happy to help. The complimentary water and juice was welcomed during the hot weather. No A/C but for the night, the fan in the room worked well. It feels like old University accommodation which explains the pictures on the listing. Large room with lots of space. However for a frills free stay in the centre of Salzburg, you can't go wrong.
