A gem of a property situated in a nice neighbourhood, which is within easy walking distance of the centre. The staff/owners are very helpful and personable and provide a generous breakfast to die for! Wouldn’t hesitate to stay at Villa Verde again when visiting Salzburg. Nothing to do with the property or its owners but it seems that due to local mandatory city and mobility taxes charged per person per night (which are legally excluded from online room rates) my €119 reservation became €135. It still represented good value but transparency is very much required in my humble opinion.

It was a lovely setting with tastefully designed interiors. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre, we were able to enjoy our holiday in Salzburg. Access via public transport was very convenient. During our visit, Salzburg was hot, with temperatures exceeding 36°C during the day. However, just as we were told—‘Keep the shutters firmly closed during the day and open the windows at night to let in the cool air’—a pleasant breeze came in at night, and we didn’t need a fan. The breakfast, featuring plenty of homemade food, was absolutely delicious. It was a lovely place where I’d love to stay again.

We arrived to be met by the owner who checked us in, and what a lovely person she was. She even carried our bags in the lift and showed us to our rooms. The rooms were excellent, with everything you could need and more, even grapes and a chocolate on the bed for you. We had breakfast the next morning and the choice was amazing, matched by the quality of the food. I wish we had stayed for longer, sadly it was only a stop over for us to get to the airport. This truly is an amazing place to stay and one which I would certainly recommend. A big "thank you" to the amazing stuff. The only down side, if there is one, is that it is a little too far to walk to the centre. We would have liked to be a little bit nearer. It was a little bit pricey too for a B & B, but I suppose that you pay for quality and that is certainly what we got here.

The breakfast was so delicious, and people who worked there were very nice. They did laundry for us which saved us on this trip as well. I liked and didn’t like the location. Parking on site was nice. It was close enough to Salzburgs old town to walk but was a little far to just pop in for an evening stroll. We chose it because of the convenient parking as we planned a day trip to the lake region.

Breakfast and room was amazing. Our hosts were absolutely lovely. The neighbourhood was beautiful. A little too far from city centre but the Villa made up for the distance.

It has the facilities and design of a high-standard hotel, but it feels like home rather than a cold hotel room. What I like the most is the design, the space, and the small details of everything in the room: the desk, the size of the bed, the grapes on the desk, and the just great, spacious, clean bathroom. I only wished that I knew how to make the room darker so I wouldn't be awakened by the morning sunlight. Unfortunately I arrived at the hotel late and could not talk to the owner, but I believe there is a way to do that. And I personally like to have a harder bed, but most beds in Austria are softer and I also know Europeans usually like softer beds : =) And of course, I have to mention the breakfast, fantastic!! Everything was of great quality and healthy (I tried bread, vegetables, spreads, cheese, ham, coffee and so on)! Perfect!!

Very nice bed and breakfast, good but warm room (but it had a fan), very yummy breakfast and a friendly host. Also the location just outside the city centre was good (20min walk to city center). Also some good restaurants close by. EV charging is possible so another plus.

We had very spacious family room facing inner garden, very clean, with comfortable beds. The breakfast was fabulous, a lot of choices and eggs cooked by owner himself! :) The hotel has amazing interior design with many painting/installation devoted to deer's theme.
