Islander House on Rocky Cay Beach

I loved the location, I think is located pretty near of the best beach in San Andrés. Bedrooms are clean and big, kitchen available to cook The house needs painting and has some rusty spots, as is typical for an older house. It feels comfortable, but the photos shown must be quite old. Unfortunately, most houses on the island are in this condition, some even quite abandoned.

Great location near the Rocky Cay Beach, with restaurants near by. Very well kept and clean property. Owner was very resposive and helpful. Beatriz who was cooking for us and cleaning was just so nice. Lulu, the cat guardian of the house, what a sweet kitty, visted us at evenings. Super quiet area, with ocean front view and large land. The property also offers many activities, vehicle rentals and the price per night is really good Not a fault of the property at all - but all coast on that side of the island is covered with algy from the sea waves. City is responsible for removing it and it seems they lack funds for it. This island has so much potential if only the city took care of this issue

Great place to spend a weekend with a whole floor to enjoy for yourself. You can set up a hammock in the balcony quite easily. The host is very nice as well and offer services at a fair price if you’re looking for activities. The proximity to the beach is a great olus A bit far from the city center but there is a shuttle available to bring you there.

It's was our third visit to Islander House and as usual, we were very happy with the accommodation. It's location right at the beach is fantastic and it's away from the super busy town centre. We loved it once again.

I loved the views every morning. People was so kind with us and warm. A really comfortable place and peaceful.

Beautiful islander classic style. Great hosts! Nice beach near the property. Beatriz is very kind a cooks delicious breakfasts.

Location Staff Room Cleaning can be improve. Breakfast can be better but is was excellent.

The house from outside is really beautiful, Beatrice is nice and welcoming. The location is great. It’s a pity that the private beach in front of the house wasn’t well-maintained, so we couldn’t really use it. Cleanliness could be improved, as well as some updates in areas like the bathroom. A mosquito net would also be a nice addition. The thin walls were a bit of an issue, as we could hear sounds from the neighboring room quite clearly. Unfortunately, our neighbor was a young man who played music and sang loudly until midnight, which made it harder to relax.

Wi-fi didn’t work the entire time we were there, so I wouldn’t recommend if that’s something you need

I liked the placed, because was very quiet, is near to Rocky beach, only a few steps, and there are various restaurants service, fron diffetent price and variarity, the transport is easy to take by taxi o public. In the yard there are many crabs!!!! The mosquitos, is necesary take de air from fan all time because between 4:00 pm at 7:00 pm there are very annoying this bugs. You need repellent

Beautiful and functional room with an incredible balcony with sea views. The staff is willing to help and cute animals around (crabs, cats, and dogs). A little far from the center, so I suggest collecting cash (pesos) for a taxi or bus. Wonderful experience.

The garden is pretty and the location is very close to a beautiful beach. Air conditioner is new and quiet. The bathroom needs more hooks. Breakfast variety.

The wooden house is a great place to relax on Rocky Cay beach. There are restaurants and markets nearby, and the bus can be stopped right outside the house. Good breakfast too. The garden is full of gray crab burrows; they come out at night, especially after rain. Be careful not to walk near them.

It felt like being home. We loved our private terrace with a hammock. The hosts were super friendly and helpful. We felt very well taken care off and we felt welcomed into their beautiful property. It was super close to the beach. It’s a very calm and safe neighborhood. It is a 15 minute bus ride into town. But the bus stops right outside and took us to town so it was no problem getting around at day time.
