Inn at the Art Center

The room and amenities were fantastic. From the big spacious room to the self serve kitchen, I couldn't have had a more peaceful stay anywhere else. Will definitely be staying here every time i return to. San Angelo.

We have stayed here before as we visit relatives in San Angelo twice a year. If you like artsy gardens, art festivals outside your door, artist shops, nice rooms, with good people to meet, or just walking around the garden, this is a this is the place for you. Everybody is very nice and helpful. The rooms are clean and well stocked with snacks, coffee, or tea. This is not your typical Holiday Inn or Hilton. We left on a Sunday with no one renting our room that day, so there was no rush at all for us to check out. These are nice rooms that are different from one another. So if you're passing by, just ask; they'll show you around, and next time you can stay, you'll know what room you want.

I love the art. Very comfortable and felt at home. And Sabrina was very helpful and very nice and helpful.

It was positively whimsical at the Chicken Farm this last weekend. It was very clean while still being funky and there was something cool to look at around every corner. Everything you needed right there didn’t need to leave and even had First Saturday to enjoy when we woke up the day of checkout! We stayed in the Pearl room and it really was so nice. Clean and climate controlled and well decorated. All of the “modern” touches you’d hope for at a hotel but with 10x the character. There was nothing I disliked about our stay at the property.

I loved all of the art work around the inn and I enjoyed how close it was to everything downtown. There was a few wasp nest above our patio door and it took a few days to take them down which caused my husband to be stung in the neck.

Parking was easy and very safe. Lighting on the property was very good. Sabrina, who lives on site, showed us to our room and gave us a brief tour of the grounds. She was available for anything although we didn't need any assistance.

If you are a person that is traveling in a hurry the informal set up may be an inconvenience. The property still has actual keys and on- site property managers.

It was alright the location was okay. The staff was friendly. Well I do believe it advertised breakfast while the were breakfast items available we were under the impression that it would be a hot breakfast but it wasn’t. The common kitchen was hard to get to unlock, and the lock to our room was also difficult at times. The shower was not very big and the shower door would stick. The top sheet on the bed was torn.

Walking around the art center we were surrounded by unique art decor and creative and welcoming artists. The staff were friendly, attentive and recommended local places of interest. We highly recommend a stay here.

The Santa Fe room that i stayed in had all aspect of New Mexico and is a big room with ample space. From Sabrina greeting me when i got there after 10pm and showing me the room, common area/patio and then the kitchen. Will definitely stay here when im in San Angelo.
