Best Western San Diego Pacific Beach/Mission Bay

complain about. I think you get what you pay for here. The hotel is a little run down.

Clean and next to Mission Bay, also minutes away from Pacific Beach and Mission Beach

Super Clean room, and very well lit up! Beds were very comfortable withe right amount of covers. The window shades had light guards so virtually no light seeped in, so it was nice being able to sleep in for that reason. Con's: Outdoor Jacuuzi was literally Luke warm, which really sucked for the reason why I chose this hotel, due to looking forward to relax my muscles from a long drive. In the morning when I took a shower, the water was luke warm as well, which was very disappointing! TV is extremely hard to navigate through even for a total tech guy, they seriously need a whole new system for TV with much more options like Amazon Prime and Netflix! Even though I gave this place a higher star rating, I definitely wouldn't stay there again due to the cold jacuzzi and the cold shower I got! If those things matter to you, I'd call there first to make sure they addressed those issues like the manager said he would.

Hair in the bathtub and on the floor and what appeared to be dirty glass on the shelf left me wonder how well the room was cleaned. The breakfast area was gross with no one cleaning up or providing any service. The juice machine was broken for the entirety of our stay. The other items were not refilled and overall really dirty in that area. Was imformed after the first night that rooms would not be sericed due to a shortage of staff and that if we required anything we could get it from front desk which was fustrating on its own but then to be told they had no clean towels availble until the evening was also unacceptable. Hopefully these comments help to improve the stay of the next guest.

Very good

Hot tub wasn't heated, and the hot tub was a big reason we chose this hotel. Continental breakfast began at 7p (was late for our purposes, we had to be at work at 7). Location was very convenient, staff were very friendly, Maggy the clerk was awesome (friendly, helpful).

It was close access to the freeway and the beach. Very loud and the beds are not comfortable and have a metal sound everytime you get in or out of it

The location was iconic. Close to everything. This is a good hotel for a short stay.

Staff I encountered, housekeeping and breakfast staff, very pleasant. Bed was very comfortable. Room was clean. At check in I was i formed only wheelchair acess room left and was asked if ok. Seemed like a bit of a wasted question if that was the only room left. Also, the room just stunk the entire stay. Damp, mildewy smell. I've stayed at other Best Westerns and found them to be much nicer. At check out no one asked if I enjoyed my stay.

Room was very clean, beds were super comfortable!!! Very friendly front desk support! Would for sure return!!!

This was awful. Filthy room, TV never worked, power went out. All in all never will I stay there again.

It was so incredibly loud, we barely slept. You could hear all the people walking around upstairs, partying in the pool, using the elevator. They were all so loud they could have been in our room.the flooring had big bubbles, so when you walked on the floor the bubble moved across the floor. There is nothing on the TV and, even though they claim to have free wifi, and you get connected, there is not enough bandwidth to even load a webpage. For $200, this place was so incredibly awful.

The bed is so bad my kids can't sleep at night the mattress was so uncomfortable. And the room floor was too dirty if you walking by bare leg you will be surprised by how it is too derty

Exceptional

Parking was free. Breakfast is shocking, hardly anything to eat. You have to use you room key to enter, but someone had let a homeless person in by accident. As there are no staff present, he ate all the sausages, downed loads of milk and downed as much liquid as he could. The girl that checked us in was stupefied. Honestly, trying to get any info out of her was like banging our heads against a brick wall. Not a great start to our stay in san diego. The location isn't great either as you're in the middle of nowhere so need a car to get around. The place is a motel with the swimming pool located in the car park. Lots of local workers use the place as digs. On our last night there they had a party till late, woke up to sick all down the side of the wall by our room. Not the cheapest either.

The staff is very helpful, except when the shampoo and conditioner bottle are empty, we asked to refill but they didn't. Other than this, it is good place to stay.

The Front desk staff. Professional and helpful. The room was filthy. Bugs in the room and the place wasn't clean. Hair on the floor dust around the headboard and the floors looked like they never been mopped.
