Solid stay

Room upon arrival smelled horribly moldy and wet and bed seemed small for a King size. Tried to sleep through the night but smell was too strong. We asked for a room change which staff was very nice and helpful and gave us a new room immediately which had no smell and was clean. Much better experience. Issue with flushing the toilet on the last morning before checking out, but overall decent inn to stay for a short stay and to save $.

Nice and affordable place for the area.

I liked that the stay was near where I was visiting .

Property is not well maintained.

It's very well located, from every where

The room was very clean and maintained. Restroom is very small. You walk into sink/vanity area upon entering the room. Shower pressure was ok. Shower head so high, I couldn't reach it. I'm 5'2". Pool water looked clean, but not surface itself, looked stained. Not close to much except for Mission Bay. Beautiful outdoor areas.

It was adequate

My toilet was out of order for 7 hours till they got someone to fix it and my key cards never worked

Unclean and smells

It's was okay for the price. The swimming pool was only 4 ft deep and pretty small. But the staff was nice. Breakfast was adequate.

The breakfast was very nice and the beds were super comfortable. The room keys would regularly break.

Nice older hotel. Breakfast was really good, and the breakfast room is nice. Close to restaurants and shopping. I will be happy to stay here again

Exceptional

This hotel is clearly very old and is showing its age. It is dirty, and the very tiny pool has green water. We were given a room on the bottom floor, but upon entering our room, we were overtaken by a very strong smell of mildew. It was unbearbale. A very nice and helpful lady at the front desk moved us up to the third floor. It was less musty, but still smelled musty. We had to open the window to try and air it out, but that only helped a little. The beds were decent. The staff was very helpful and friendly, but there isn't much they could probably do to fix the condition of the hotel. It probably needs to be renovated. I would start by getting rid of the filthy carpeting. The location is wonderful as far as being very close to (walkable) all the fun things at Mission Bay, including Sea World. The breakfast is your typical budget motel breakfast. Coffee was weak.
