Had a fantastic experience
-
It was not to my expectations.

Should be upfront abbout extra costs. Parking fee and resort fee details were disclosed just a few days prior to travel. With all the extra fees and taxes pretty costly resort to stay at.

This was our first visit and it was very relaxing. The staff were wonderful from start to finish. We can't wait to come back.

It was great experience

Great location on Mission Bay, conveniently close to the promenade and beach. The room was clean and cozy, and the view of the beach from the balcony was amazing. It’s also a convenient drive to the Old Town area and SeaWorld. In the evening, you can watch the final drone show from the hotel’s beach, which was a wonderful bonus. I would have appreciated it if the reception staff had warned us about the fire and smoke coming from the beach in the evening. The smell of smoke was very strong and unpleasant, making it difficult to stay comfortably in the room.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great spot for families with kids.

Location and Amenities. We also enjoy having a garden view and patio in a park like setting. There should be a separate pool and jacuzzi for Adults Only.
-
Lots to do , great for active families , friendly staff, beautiful grounds , and well maintained. No issues
-
We really liked the easy check in and out, beautiful rooms, lovely staff, and amazing sunsets from our bay view.

Gorgeous resort!

The hotel is located in a nice, quiet area on the bay, and it is within close driving distance to most major attractions. A room upgrade (with a fee) was offered at check-in, which gave us a room with a nice view of the bay. The rooms are good sized, but could use some better upkeep. Our toilet was broken, and the door handle came off our bathroom door a few times during the stay. The rooms also have a musty smell to them. Housekeeping comes very early, and when we told them we would be out of the room by 9am, they never returned to clean. The pool area is nice, but very loud and crowded. The beach area on the bay is much quieter. This is a family friendly hotel, which is great if you have young kids, but look elsewhere if you want a more relaxing feel. The rooms don't shield sound very well, so we were treated to a very loud and unhappy child next door throughout our stay. Bottom line - this hotel may be OK if you have young kids and are looking to stay in a quiet area of San Diego. But, in our experience, the quality of this hotel does not justify the price point.

Excellent communication of staff in reference to texts and needs from front desk. Resort offered plenty of amenities and food was delicious, too.

Beautiful property! Highly recommended :)

Had a fabulous mommy and daughter time at Mission Bay Resort. The resort felt you were on an island. Will definitely visit again
-
Victoria is the nicest person on this earth The room was not facing the ocean for 500 dollars a night it was not clean my tv did not work I called guest services they stated they were sending someone no one ever showed up I got charged 30 dollars literally for lettuce and ranch
-
I like how close we were to the beach however we were too close to the park side and park visitors played music very loudly until midnight. Our TV would do the check out process several times a day and we weren’t in the room that often. The property feels dated, the restaurant is average. Our room didn’t have a table and chair to sit at so we could eat comfortably. The staff cleaned our room every day except on Sunday they came after 5pm and were settled in for the evening. I love that we were able to check in about 6 hours early.

Stay was ok. i payed for a bay view room and didnt gett hat. they probably call it a by view becasue since i was on th 6th floor you were able to see the bay from very far. wasnt impressed with that.
-
Pool was murky and cloudy. Kids even got an infection. Staff was helpful and nice. Just management needs to usdate rooms.
