This is a no frills contactless place. Literally a box to stay in which was fine for what I needed for 1 night. Great location about 2 blocks from Petco Park and all the night life

I liked it. Great quality for the price. Fantastic location.

The instructions for entering my BBB room was negligible. There wasn’t a room number and the code for entering my room was incorrect. Once inside I was unable to get a warm shower not to excuse a hot shower. The bed was angle from right side being high to the left side being low. So I had to sleep at an angle for fear that I would roll off. The tv remote did not work so once I turned it on I to unplug it to o turn off. The.facility was quiet however.

Excellent stay and the location can’t be better for a Padres game

I have never reviewed a property before but this one warrants a first. It was absolutely disgusting inside with a ton of gnats in the room + bathroom. The hot water didn’t work half the time and the AC was spotty. Stay away at all costs. Spend the extra money snd stay elsewhere.

Staff was super helpful and very quick to answer the phone (staff-less hotel) I had no problems

I rented 2 rooms. In my sons room, 208, as soon as we entered for the first time, we noticed the bed was not made. The blankets were folded and placed on the bed. The bedsheet, had a light yellow stain with what appeared to be a small blood stain. Why that sheet is still being used in beyond believe. My room, 206, the sheet also had a small brown blood stain. Their was a weird smell in the rooms and hallway. The front door, was not closing. This is not a hotel with staff in it. A code is given to folks to unlock the front door. That door would not close. Obviously, it was broken. I did call staff to let them know. Their fix? To place folded paper on the doors latch for it to properly close. This half-a$$ fix did not work. We were there for Comic-Con week. Next year, I will definitely get a real hotel not a building concerted into a hotel.

Clean room. Good for the one night stay. Would stop again

The property was fine close to the convention The room had nats in it I killed 4. There was still more flying in the room also when I grabbed my sandals there was a silver fish crawling on the towel I had on the ground. This hotel needs a fumigation and cleaning to get rid of all the bugs what I think attracted the bugs is that my door has a space gap under the door that you could stick your fingers under it not safe at all. Also the shampoo, body wash and conditioner looked disgusting it looked like the soap sat there to the point where it was growing mold. Those bottles need to be changed ASAP and better yet give us small bottles or bars it will be better for everyone.

The hotel was very conveniently located in downtown San Diego and was walking distance from the convention center, Petco Park, and the Gaslamp District. The hotel was overall what I needed for my travel and did its job. The hotel was on the more humble side, with very small rooms and bathrooms with the basic amenities. The room did not muffle sounds very well, so any activity in neighboring or rooms above mine and the sounds of downtown were quiet loud.

The self check in with out a front desk clerk went smooth all the codes worked properly, not used to that type of check-in. The room was nice small but to the most part was clean, the shower still has some hair on the wall of the shower and the toilet was a little dirty. There were a lot of fruit flying the room which was annoying. The bed was nice and comfortable, it was a new memory foam cushion. When I exited in the morning I took the wrong exit and ended up in the basement or something and there were bags of trash on the floor with fruit flies all over the place, that explains the fruit flies in the room and hallway

What I loved about hotel Gigi was location. The access was simple and self explanatory. Perfect little spot for single traveler that doesn’t need a lot of accommodations. It was a small room bed, TV, sink, toilet, and shower. I appreciated having private bathroom and AC. It wasn’t super clean. There were dust bunnies in the room. The outside hallway smelled musty like wet dog. The price could be significantly lower considering you are basically paying for a bed. No parking, the room doesn’t come with mini fridge or microwave for food/ drink storage, no customer service since it’s all automated.

Just OK, but the parking situation was pretty trash
