Highly recommend the Argonaut Hotel. My husband and I stayed in a 1 bed king suite with separate living area and it was huge! I love to book suite's for our holiday hotels with all the services for a spoil and to help with the holiday activities and this hotel ticked all the boxes. The hotel was recommended to us by a friend (we're from Australia) and it didn't disappoint. The location was perfect at the quieter end of Jefferson street. Our room 201 was on a street corner level, and although we had to keep the corner 2 window shutters closed as people could possibly see into our room, we didn't see that as a problem as there were other windows in the room to view out of. Huge shut off bedroom with an extra large king bed and so comfortable. 2 large TV's, large bathroom with a soaker tub, extra large living area with 6 seater dining table, fold out lounge + extra seating, entry area, TV, side tables, everything you would want is in this hotel. We didn't eat at the hotel due to time limits and tempting views at street restaurants, but used the advice of the Concierge who was excellent. My husband used the gym daily and said it was good. They provided a bunch of vouchers for discounts on restaurants which we used, including Ben and Jerries icecream (which is next door). It is at the end of Jefferson Street which is good as it keeps everything a bit quieter but still so central to everything. We were there for 3 nights including a weekend and it can get a bit noisy on the street with all the activity and cars doing showy run bys, but once we were in our room we didn't hear anything. Takes 10-15 min walk from hotel at end of Jefferson to see all of Jefferson main street to end including the seals at Pier 39 and shopping. The boat to Alcatraz tour, which was excellent, is a approx 15 min walk. Ghirardellia centre and cable car (2 stops to Lombard St) are literally next door. Everthing you want is at this hotel. Our stay was excellent, nothing could've been better

Awesome
-
Great location, stylish and large rooms Great views over Golden Gate Bridge A few things in the room were a little temperamental - a couple of the lights didn’t work, the toilet flush sometimes worked and sometimes water just kept flowing, and the shower switch kept getting stuck. Was also rather dusty in places too. There was a total lack of vegan options on the restaurant menu for breakfast or dinner.

Really nice hotel. Nothing.
-
Excellent location being just a few mins walk from Fisherman's Wharf and Lombard St, as well as a short uber to other tourist spots. Loved the room decor too! Cleanliness could've been better and the hotel felt quite expensive for the amenities offered.

Excellent location, unbeatable, clean rooms, comfortable beds, quick room service, good breakfast
