Clean
-
We were disappointed as we reserved a room with a bay view and instead got a room of the street with a view of construction

Vanessa at the front desk was very helpful with giving directions to find our way around SF. Great location and very safe. The furniture in the room was a bit outdated and worn, could use a refresh would be my only suggestion.

The hotel was in a good location. Unfortunately the bathroom the hotel was dirty. Still had the previous guests soap bar at the tub. The tub was very worn and the tub kept clogging and coughing out dirt and old hair. It was pretty disgusting.

Just not the same anymore
-
Friendly reception team, got to check in early, rooms are quiet and clean (our rooms overlook poolside). Bar down in lobby. Walkable to Ghirardelli square, cable car, Fishermans wharf. Fourth time staying here and will return.
-
Easy access to Alcatraz / Pier 33, Trolley cars and a short trip to the golden gate, Presidio and China Town. When we go back to SF, we will definitely stay again.
-
Great hotel in a very good location, very nice and clean. Great lobby with pool tables and other family friendly games, a nice way to end each evening.

Center of everything fun A little pricey when you include the $75/night park fee.

Exceptional

Liked the location and facilities to a degree like the pool table/games. We were also able to check in earlier. It was too pricey for what it was, the pool also didn't seem like the photo. Vending machines on our floor mainly out of order. Had no tea or coffee making facilities and shower wasn't the best.

- Clean & Modern Rooms: The room itself was clean, well-maintained, and modern. - Great Location: Excellent location near Fisherman’s Wharf with flat, easy walking access and no steep hills to navigate. Although, can feel overwhelmingly touristy - Responsive Management: The manager was very professional, took our concerns seriously, and actively tried to mitigate issues when they arose. - Small Perks: Free drip coffee in the morning and a complimentary drink at the bar were nice touches. - Check-In & Room Assignment Issues: We were quoted a $60 early check-in fee, but our room wasn't even ready 30 minutes before official check-in time. We were initially given two queens instead of the king we booked—management changed it assuming three full guests without realizing the third was a baby. - Poor Room Insulation & Climate: Single-pane windows mean zero noise isolation and a chilly draft. The room bathroom remained cold despite the AC, and the air was so dry that both my baby and I woke up with stuffed noses. The inner courtyard view also came with a constant, annoying mechanical hum. - Missing Basic Amenities & Poor Pressure: No mini-fridge in the room (available only as a $25 rental), and the shower had very low water pressure. - Crib & Co-Sleeping Frustrations: When delivered, it was an unassembled Pack 'n Play without any baby bedsheets. We couldn't assemble it and gave up, using a chair to block the side of the bed for co-sleeping instead. - Misleading Breakfast: The "included breakfast" is actually just a $30 daily credit per room for a grab-and-go counter stocked with overpriced, pre-packaged items ($2 bananas, $12 pre-tax sandwiches, and processed snacks). - Destination Fee & Dirty Common Areas: The mandatory destination fee feels like a cash grab. The lobby game area was neglected, with visibly dirty floors and uncleaned items.
