We got in late so the limited parking was full (which i absolutely expected getting in at 10pm) so we had to park 2 blocks down on the street. When we checked in there was an empty soda bottle behind the door and urine left in the toilet in one room. Our other room had a bunch of missing paint on the walls where old decorations had been removed. The beds were very soft and the a/c worked well for what was a surprisingly warm SF night. Chose this hotel to be within walking distance of Oracle Park and for that reason it was perfect. Would honestly stay again despite the poor state of the room, the sheets, at least, were clean and how often do you find free parking in SF.

We have stayed here 5 times . It's walking distance to Oracle Park and also Powell station where you can take a Cable car. Includes parking many places charge extra for parking. Staff have been very helpful.

A gem in the downtown area. Simple, clean, quiet, safe and well run in the rough part of town and parking is included (wow!). CLose to financial district, the Hall of Justice and the waterfront. It is the most economical alternative to $300+ hotels in the area if you are on a budget and do not want all the amenities of a 4* hotel.

Star — Very Disappointed by My Recent Experiences I have lived in San Francisco for 33 years, and I am deeply disappointed by my recent experiences at the Bay Bridge Inn. I have stayed there numerous times over the years, and it has historically been a place where I felt comfortable staying. Unfortunately, I no longer feel that way. I am particularly concerned about what I believe is discriminatory treatment toward gay guests. I have personally0 experienced treatment that made me feel singled out and judged because of my sexual orientation, and I have also witnessed or heard similar concerns from other gay people who have stayed there. One employee in particular, a front-desk representative whose name I believe is Raunak (I may not have the spelling correct), has made me extremely uncomfortable. I have the impression that guests' personal and social behavior is being monitored and that information about guests' online activity may be used to judge them or influence decisions about whether they should be allowed to stay. I cannot independently verify everything I have heard or observed, so I will limit my review to what I personally experienced. Most recently, I was staying at the hotel with my companion when we accidentally spilled a small amount of coffee on a chair. We immediately cleaned up what we could. There was a slight stain underneath the seat that we were unable to completely remove. I reported what happened rather than trying to hide it. The response was, in my opinion, completely disproportionate. The chair was removed, and I was told that it could never be used again. I was subsequently banned from the hotel. This is especially upsetting because I have stayed at the Bay Bridge Inn many times and have never intentionally damaged anything. A minor coffee stain on a chair should not, in my opinion, result in a permanent ban—particularly when the guest immediately acknowledged the accident and attempted to clean it.

Cute place in great location, friendly staff. Wish they had safes in the room. Also wish they had option of early check in (when available)

The tv or remote didn’t work, the pillows were small and we barely had sheets. Other than that, it was a good location and walking distance to a great night club. Also, we booked through Hotels.com and it didn’t mention that the free parking on premises was first come, first serve. We almost had to park 2 blocks down…but the receptionist was kind enough to allow us to park close to the building.

Stay was appropriate for a short term stay with limited amenities. Free parking was key in SF with easy access to highways.

Smelly rooms, you can smell mold. Bedsheets had blood stain, hairs from previous guests. You can hear hookers all night long.

Clean rooms and nice people Parking

I didn't like their new policy on deposits. I called to ask how long til i get my deposit back...i was told that only the manager can refund a deposit & he was gone til Sunday. I checked out Thursday morning.....Luckily he was not gone on vacation...wtf?

The staff was nice, but the room still had some small pieces of trash on the floor. The carpet didn’t feel very clean, and the worst thing was that there was some sort of rodent in the room. We didn’t find out until the next morning when we were packing to leave. The evidence we found was one of our charging cords was chewed on and a bag that we had ended up with tiny holes in it. Very sad to say if it wasn’t for that it would’ve been a decent stay.
