Chapter San Francisco - Hostel

Bathroom dispensers were consistently out of paper towels for drying. Inside of the bathroom the walls nor the door surfaces weren’t cleaned during my stay. The previous mentioned areas of the bathroom remained unclean my entire stay.

Chapter was very clean and everybody was really nice. I’m at smooth good people. And the beds were very comfortable. I’m staying there again on my new trip. Everything was great

It was great to be able to have our group of 6 together in a room. There was some trash under the beds when we first arrived, but other than that, the facilities were very clean.

TJs 10 min walk away for cheap groceries. Each room had a secure digital pinpad with a custom code for your stay to get you in and out of your room and the building. The bedroom itself has a fully enclosed capsule with a light and charger inside providing a sense of security and privacy. A bit dusty for my liking in the bed capsule. Kitchen sink and 2 of the 4 showers were out of order. You could tell some people were from off the streets, which honestly wasn’t a problem to me but was did make me feel slightly less safe as a solo female traveler.

This was the cheapest hostel I stayed at during my trip to the U.S., but it turned out to be the best one. I honestly didn't expect much because of the low price, but it completely exceeded my expectations. The beds had privacy curtains, the restrooms were always very clean, and the atmosphere was calm and quiet. I also really liked the free luggage storage. If I ever visit San Francisco again, I will definitely stay at this hostel again. Highly recommended!! Nothing.

Good location and lots of facilities such as a lounge, study room, tea, coffee and water available, multiple restrooms. Clean rooms and easy check-in. Walls seemed to be a bit thin so we stayed on the 1st floor and could sometimes hear loud walking, but it didn’t disturb us that much.
