There were a few stains on thr carpet of the room that we stayed in, and the emergency button on the 12th floor made a bunch of static noise, but overall fantastic stay. The room was clean (except for those stains), the staff was friendly, the bar was a bit pricey and the food wasnt the best for the price, but we loved our stay and would definitely stay there again

This hotel is very conveniently located across the street from Oracle Park which is great if you’re in town for a game or event. The property is nice, the staff is really friendly and the room was clean. I thought the amenities in the room were just OK. The rooms and hallways could be described as moody but more appropriately I would describe them as dark. No natural light at all in the room we stayed in. We didn’t spend a ton of time in the room, but we did spend a lot of time on the rooftop bar. Ambiance is 10/10 up there although really windy and some of their appliances to combat the wind were broken. While the vibes were great, the food and drinks were not. My cocktails were all pretty terrible and the food was just okay. We tried many things on the menu and I wouldn’t recommend any of it. Check on and check out were easy and I did valet a car which was pricey since there was an event at Oracle but worth it because the garage it was kept in is secure. I would go back if I were going to an event at Oracle for convenience alone.

If you are going to a game or concert at Oracle Park this Hotel is perfect! You can not get any closer than this. Finding it was easy, they have valet parking. Nothing beats the walking distance to the stadium and so many restaurants. The staff were incredibly friendly and the room was nice and clean.

Hotel Via was great and very conveniently located directly across from Oracle park.

Downstairs bar was not fun. Took forever to get a drink, plastic cups of beer, multiple TVs had fox news on with no sports and a giants game happening.

I chose Hotel Via because it's right next to Oracle Park and a game was one of the items on my short stay itinerary. It worked out well. San Francisco's public transportation is a bit daunting to figure out, so I just walked it to Chinatown/Little Italy the first night. 40 minute walk, not too horrible and yes an Uber back. It was a 1:10 game (the next day) and of course arriving was rather easy. :) After the game, many Giants fan went to the hotel. I guess I was surprised by the amount of Giants fans coming from out of town. (?) Regardless, there were about 50+ people jammed into the elevator hallway and I opted for stairs for my 5th floor room. There are two doorways to the stairs off a corner, one is marked,.. on the side where all the humanity was. The one on the other side was not marked. My suggestion would be to simply place a 'stairs' sign on the unmarked side so staff can avoid numerous 'where are the stairs' questions. My other thought is the room is a 'smart room'. With this, all the lights kept coming back on after I shut them off with the Master switch in the room. You can turn them off with a tablet that the room provides, but it seems like the hotel would want to save some money and power by having the option to not turn everything on, or at least a minimum of lights. All was clean, bed comfy, shower was one of the best designs I've seen for an 'open' configuration as water didn't flow freely into the 'drying area'.

Great location for what I needed, the room was clean and the staff very helpful when I had to leave a package to be picked up by Fedex and they helped with printing as well.

The hotel was beautiful. The staff weren't super nice but nice enough. Parking is crazy ridiculous...$75/day for valet. Luckily there was a garage near by, that was cheaper.

Staff was great and the location is very convenient

Location walking distant to restaurants and entertainment. Valet parking available, a must in San Francisco. The AC in the room was silent….. City street noise, a minor inconvenience.

Love staying here for Giants games!

Was in town to watch the Giants play, and there is no better place to stay than the Hotel Via. Valet parking, super nice staff, walk across the street to the game. Rooms are very comfortable. After check-out, they hold your luggage so you can go to the game. After the game, grab your luggage, Valet brings you your car, and you are on your way.
