Hotel Zetta San Francisco

I love this hotel. The design is fun and kitschy and the location is great for quick overnight visits to SF.

Staff was attentive and the facilities were nice. There was a lingering smell in the room but the staff did a good job of trying to minimize it. Very close to the tenderloin so there were lots of bums and crackheads about. Not the facilities fault. Otherwise a good experience.

Spacious rooms, very friendly staff, great location!

​The biggest issue was the pillowcases on our bed—they were noticeably dirty with what appeared to be dried makeup of some sort (I hope anyway). Given that the cases were pure white, it was disappointing that housecleaning missed this. However, once we spoke with a member of the cleaning staff, they promptly replaced them with fresh ones. ​Additionally, the add-on costs felt quite steep, with parking at $69 a night and amenities fees coming out to $87. ​On a positive note, the front desk staff was excellent throughout our stay—welcoming, polite, and very helpful.

Room OK with no proper shower enclosure which a bit silly and many rooms look straight toward another room (h style blocks). Silly daily amenities charges which make it look cheaper but then costs quite a bit more. Colleague said coffee shop in lobby was very slow and poor. Overall, OK and wouldn’t return if could avoid.

Clean and very comfortable. Close to transport I’d have liked tea and coffee facilities in the room. They bought a coffee maker when we asked (which was excellent!) but it’d be good to have them in both rooms.

While there were some glitches getting something to eat in the lounge/cafe, everything was clean and it was a great location on the southern border of the Union Square neighborhood and next to the BART. It was a great value for the location. The ambiance was more trendy than comfortable, but the rooms were spacious with those necessary conveniences while traveling for work: outlets, hair drying, ironing board, and free coffee in the lobby every morning.

Room was clean and property was super nice and modern, kinda surprising for a small boutique hotel in downtown San Francisco. One thing that was a little interesting was that the bathroom had a full ceiling-to-floor window right in front of the toilet. You can close the blinds, and the room was 5 stories up so people below can't really see you, but I thought that was kinda strange. Other than that, an all-around nice hotel.
