Hotel Zelos San Francisco

This is my home away from home when I'm in San Francisco. I can't count how many times I've stayed here and I'm always happy I did!

Excellent choice to stay at this modern, clean hotel near downtown and union square. Will stay again. Breakfast was excellent as was service by two gentlemen.

Location, ambiance, staff Room is a bit small

You need to change the wording when booking on this site. It always says, “what you see is what you pay.” That is not true! At check, the hotel charges $35 per night and call it a “ guest amenities fee.” In addition there are extra charges for occupancy tax, California tourism tax, SF Moscone expansion District assessment & SF tourism improvement district assessment. All of these “extra” fees added $82.40 to the stay.

First time here! We had a group of 8 with 6 rooms and the staff made sure we all had the same floor! Trader Joe’s next door and a bart station 50 ft away, it was amazing!

One of my favorite places to stay in the city! Easy access to bart, coffee shops, line scooters and china town!

Clean, perfect location, amenities are great too! Can be a tad rough in the area in the late afternoon.

The restaurant tricks you wth the price. They give you a voucher but make you pay more

The only complaint I would say is that you don’t have a restroom by the lobby. I was told I would have to go to the 5th flr and it would be by the restaurant. I had to pee so bad!!! And I saw no signs and had to go into the restaurant and ask a customer to please help me. It was still further down the hall…..almost peed my pants!

Location near Powell St BART and Muni, comfortable beds, cleanliness Price is high

The location was great, with Trader Joe’s next door and close proximity to plenty of stores and food. Pickup points to drive shares were close and easily accessible. The front desk staff were very helpful. Free coffee could have lasted a bit longer throughout the day. The room was spacious and clean, but one dresser drawer had a hard time staying closed, the closet door was hard to open and the sliding bathroom door did not close tightly. The room cleaning staff were fantastic. The breakfast at the hotel restaurant was good, but the happy hour was meh. The drinks deals were not great and the oysters were not good. I would still consider staying here on future visits.

Nice size room with comfortable bed and refrigerator was nice as well. Location of hotel is great, bear public transportation, restaurants, etc Wish there was a less expensive breakfast buffet.

Great location. Helpful staff, just ask for what you need and they are happy to be of service. I usually request a quiet room and am accommodated no problems. Restaurant is very good, outside patio can be loud and busy in the evenings. Nice place to meet up with friends. Gym is ok. Room amenities are pretty limited, but there’s a fridge and Trader Joe’s directly downstairs so it’s perfect.

Location, cleanliness and helpful staff No tea/coffee in room. My preference when travelling. It was available on the other floor.
