Perramont Hotel

The room itself was nice and clean, with a comfortable bed and two windows allowing a nice cross breeze. The European style was fine with me, with two bathrooms per floor and two showers per floor. I never had to wait. The downsides: 1. My quads are in good shape from the three flights of stairs. (No elevator.) 2. It is next to Cafe du Nord that had loud music most nights. And my two immediate neighbors were extended stay patrons who treated the space more as a dorm than a hotel. Bonus: It’s also next to The Wooden Spoon which has a number of great breakfasts!

this was a hotel with a great location. close to the action in the castro. i stayed in a room with a double, shared shower, but personal sink. the room was small but had all the essentials like towels and soap and clean bedding. i felt safe and the staff was friendly and helpful.

The front desk guy was very friendly. My only feedback is the smell of the halls. They should improve in this. The rest of the hospital is fantastic.

Staff were all nice and responsive. My room was nicer looking than others I saw into. Good location. Right near and excellent breakfast place. Seemed ok initially. But lots of things wrong once I spent a little time. The room had no mirror and no available mirror anywhere in the building. I went to the reception to ask about this, and eventually had to go back with pictures from booking.com to show mirrors in every room. They did install a mirror almost immediately - all the staff are pretty good and very nice here. But the wiodow was broken too, so didn't close. And then it turned out the room overlooked an outdoor bar. The loudest hotel room I've ever been in. Every day, all afternoon. And when the music was finished, I could hear my neighbours TV and them snoring. Thinnest walls ever. I was just never able to relax or sleep properly here.

I love EVERYTHING about this property. It kinda gives a dated but modernized hostel. Beautiful, clean showers, very clean and updated rooms. Excellent location, here in the Castro. LOVE it!!!

Located in a great spot, we had an excellent room with a huge window and a fire escape. Was a little skeptical about the shared shower, but it was always clean and I never had to wait. It was also super quiet and I never felt disturbed.

A pretty good room with a comfortable bed, clean bedding, a TV, a table, a chair, and a nice carpet. The restroom should really have a small sink. Most rooms have sinks, so this compensates, and the shower is good.

Bedbugs. Completely stained bed cover. Hair in the sheets. Next to a loud bar. Dirty in general. I found a bed bug and got a refund and stayed somewhere else. Yes, it’s cheap but I wouldn’t sleep here for free.

This place is bare bones, but totally worth the money and very clean. I was a little late leaving and they didn't mind at all. The staff was really nice, as well. I got a room right on Market st, which was pretty loud at night. I didn't mind too much since I was out late every night.
