Hotel allows earlier check in without penalty which is a plus. Good location. No bathroom in the room though so price lower.

Very helpful and kind staff that explained things well and attended to my needs.

The location is great, the place is clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. The only downside is the shared bathrooms but was not a problem. Price point is pretty good too!

Good location. The facility looked very worn and dated. The room was so small, that the bed was pushed up against the window wall so that the bathroom door would open. In order to get to the window one either had to shimmy across the bed or move the bed which prevented the bathroom door from opening. There was no elevator. Neither the room nor the restaurant had coffee.

From the moment I arrived the smell of the place was overwhelming, a mix of mildew and smoke, when I go to my room it was just mildew smell coming from the bathroom the bed looked like it was there the day they opened the hotel, door had big drafts you can see right through. One thing the guy at the desk moved me to a much cleaner smelling room, like bleach and old carpet, only the bathroom lights didn’t turn on when I flipped the switches, after almost Two hrs in could not relax because here comes the repair man and the desk worker to “fix” the lighting. I also noticed the desk worker either taking a video or a pic of the room or me not sure because he had his back towards me but from what I was able to see was a pic of the bathroom mirror reflecting back at me. They spend about 30 min or more checking connections, and it wasn’t till I finally asked them to just forget it and give me a chance to finally relax and have some quiet but they insisted that they check the breaker downstairs, after almost an hr of this the light were working and was finally able to get some quiet, wrong there was people constantly opening and closing doors I even heard a bang at my door, same with the window leading to the fire escape, I even caught some one climbing out to the fire escape to “smoke a cigarette” according to him he said he lived there and was in the room with his boss. He then proceeded to ask me if he can smoke in the fire escape I replied “you live here I don’t so that something you should know”, just overall worst stay oh and not to mention the jerk off who was flying a drone near by yelling obscenely at pedestrians.

Location is ideal. Bathroom could have been upgraded and cleaner.

there is no private bathroom, and too small room no AC

It was very conveniently located. And easy to navigate the city. The room in the ad is not the room you get. It is in fact, much smaller.
-
The location is perfect if you’re looking to be near the Castro and have access to the train. It’s older but that really wasn’t a problem. There’s also shared bathroom and showers so if you’re not used to that be prepared. But overall the staff were great.

Quiet. Attentive and flexible staff. Each room has felt distinctive and comfortable Ice machine might be nice. And aal the lights were overhead harsh ceiling lamps--some floor/table lamps would be nice for evenings.
