SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western San Jose Central City

Valet parking was $25. It was good to have it when we stayed at hotel

Room was smelly and carpet was dirty

Rooms were clean and bed was comfortable. The weekend breakfast hours were a little too late for my liking, and the Wifi is a little spotty.

This is an older hotel. They did a good job at keeping it clean. The staff were very helpful with a couple requests we had.

The hotel is more like a motel. It’s located in a commercial/industrial area and it’s noisy. You can hear and see the planes fly by. There’s a Holiday Inn Express in the same parking lot.

Do not stay here! It was not what it looked like at all!

Charged the fees again I told the receptionist when I check in time. I already paid it via online I totally don’t like even I told I paid but they charged again It double

Staff definitely exceeded my expections. As a single mom with 3 kids who can be overly energetic, the staff greeted us with warm smiles, pointed us in the direction of the pool and even turned on the jets of the hot tub so it would be ready for me after I packed in all our stuff. Great hospitality is harder to come by these days, but the staff here were exceptional. Rooms were slightly dated, but the overall size was spacious

Everything was wonderful except there was a cockroach in my room. The day I was leaving and it was so gross. Unfortunately, I would never stay there again. The location was excellent. I would just like to mention that there was a resident who said they live there and started washing their vehicle and was in an no parking area next to handicap where we were and started washing their car. Our car had just been washed. It was 90° outside. It was very disappointing that this person disrespected our property and not too cause problem. My Husband move the vehicle, which we had the right to be in a handicap and he was not in an area that was even to be parked at. It says clearly no parking. That parking slot is for handicap. When getting out of the car.

The parking is very limited at this location, but the rooms are clean and well-furnished. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The hotel is older and showing its age. The new Holiday Inn next door makes parking difficult. The TV relied on wifi and kept freezing.
