While it was just me, a 54 year old travel savvy father, this hotel was fine for the night. I wasn't spending much time in the room so it was just for sleeping and showering. The hotel and room are tired, with scuffed walls, missing paint and a very tiny shower with shower head below chin level. The sinks hot water was turned off, not sure why, and the dated AC almost got the room cool enough. It was fine for a pinch, but at $230 all in, I thought this place would have a bit more charm. The bed was OK, sheets clean and while staff were slow to answer the locked door to the office for check in and out, my stay was fine. Shocked at hotel prices in SLO so settled here. If you know and your OK with a 2-star'ish stay, its fine. Easy walk to town (5 mins) onsite parking, and a place to rest your head...

I had the ADA room and the shower area was first rate! The room was spacious and everything was in good repair. It was also quiet even though on a busy street. The owners/staff were gracious and helpful. Room was dark due to dark paint on walls, nicely done but it made the room too dark. Curtains were uneven giving the room a shabby look that it didn't deserve.

Hotel was in a good location, just a 15 minute walk or so to Downtown which is why we chose it. Hotel was dated, but was clean and the price reflected fairly. Thanks.

I didn’t like that the office was never open. The TV didn’t work.

An easy 5-star review! The room was meticulously clean, and the staff was incredibly welcoming, kind, and helpful. When I locked my key in the room, the owner dropped everything and literally ran over to help me out.

I arrived around 11:30 PM and left at 4:00 AM the next day so I don't have much to say.

Check in was easy, and the staff was very engaging and helpful. The property was clean and very well maintained. The room was spotlessly clean the linens new and fresh and being right in the heart of San Luis Obispo everything was just a few blocks away. Definitely will return for another costal adventure soon.

Quiet, convenient location, walking distance to cafe and restaurant Crazy price $750 for two nights for modest hotel room that was just a one room with bed, no kitchenette, no breakfast room.
-
Reasonable price and convenient location. Dirty, old outdated room with moldy bathroom tiles, grimy carpet, peeling paint. The television had no reception, the office is kept locked during business hours. If you don’t get any local travel brochures when you check in, you can’t get them.
