The location is good, and if the town (all of the streets and sidewalks and some buildings) had not been under construction, it would have been a good location for walkability. The balcony was large. The room was very clean. I had no coffee for the second morning. The room is very dark and has no air conditioning. No windows with screens. There are two barking dogs that live close by and the 4 wheelers go past at all hours. The wi-fi is really only good for sending texts and reading emails. No streaming is possible.

The size of the room and its unique design. Loved the fireplace. It was in a convenient location. The lovely welcome treats: coffee, water decanter, sweet treats and even some raicilla. It was hard to find because there was no sign, no major entrance. For the price point, it would have been nice to have a microwave. The wifi was weak.

Location was great. Walk to everything. Wonderful balcony. Luxurious decor in the room.

The location was lovely. Centrally located with a view of a little river. The bed was comfortable and the fireplace kept the chill away on cooler mountain nights. Can’t think of anything.

The room was much smaller than we thought it would be from the photos on booking. We were looking forward to the fireplace but it wasn’t working when we arrived - we texted the staff then they told us it wasn’t working.

It was. Easy to access in the heart of town. Relatively quiet in the evening and night. Really comfortable room and beds. Clean, great utilities, close to everything.

Wow it felt like a bit of Austria within Mexico! Beautiful decor with its many chandeliers and details. Fabulous spacious new bathroom, jacuzzi tub and shower. Good coffee available in the room. And that fireplace! Lovely staff also very helpful. Nada

Large modern bathroom with a jacuzzi tub and shower, Balcony with hammock, interesting decor. Well-placed power outlets. Attentive management. Owner and manager went out of their way to help me, and again when I was about to leave- housekeeping promptly searched my room for lost items and gave me the phone charger I had forgotten about. The doors are old but sturdy, and the doorlock is electronic so you don't have to carry a key unless you want to. It's a good location, close to the heart of the town. Did I mention that there was a hammock ? The doorway to the bathroom was very low for me, just something to be cognizant of if you're over 6 feet. If you've never been to SSO you should be aware that it's 500 years old and sits up in a high mountain valley surrounded by forest, and that forest has a thriving population of insects and spiders, so do not leave food or anything that smells like food in your room unless you want it to join the existing ecosystem
