This place was beyond my expectations. To start, we had to check out of our other hotel by 12:30. We stopped by Hotel del Pozo to see if they would let us store our luggage there until check in time, and they let us know the room was ready and they were able to check us in early! The room was spacious, well decorated, well stocked, and very clean. WiFi was great. The bed had nice linens and was super comfortable. The bathroom was clean, well stocked and spacious. The shower had very good water pressure. The view from the room was super amazing. The room and the area were very quiet at night. The hotel is in a great location! The panaderia right next door was pretty amazing, too :) Will definitely stay here again when in the area.

-
No breakfast offered A better mattress
-
Close to main plaza 2 balconies and good cross ventilation It’s dark. It’s ok for a couple of nights
-
The bed was very uncomfortable, but there were adequate blankets for this time of year(april), but the pillows were nice.

It was so old, with lots of character So much history The staff was so friendly and caring I can’t remember anything I didn’t like about the property It did not have a restaurant in the hotel, it was mentioned that they had a restaurant at the hotel

Under construction cement, dusty, dirty lightbulb on wire hanging from ceiling no toilet paper dispenser rod nobody there to help you went into a dark, dirty construction site taxi driver and myself yelled for help at least five minutes before the taxi driver called the number and got somebody to let us check us in no security just playing very poor. It is under construction and should not be recommended to anybody until construction is finished and a review has been done of the facility.

The toilet seat was broken, there were no hooks, hangers or shelves to store clothes, and our room lacked a balcony, although there was a common one that we used.

The host “Min” was excellent trying to make us comfortable. The hotel is advertised with a restaurant and bar. There is neither and that was a problem because my husband is handicapped and could not walk up the street to restaurants due to the uphill cobblestone roads. There is no mention in the advertising that the hotel is not handicapped accessible. The hotel was under construction, we had to park our car behind the hotel in a dirt lot. It was very difficult for my handicapped husband to get from there to the front door of the hotel.

Love this town and the host Min, was exceptionally nice. WiFi was spotty at best, but don’t come here for the WiFi, come for the amazing town and beautiful mountains. Epic birding destination.

Location was great, room was spacious, some staff were very helpful. The town is high up a windy road and the internet service does cut in and out. The owner(?) had installed satellite internet and when the internet cut out while we were there he went to great lengths to make sure service continued uninterrupted. Note that the old part of town is several hundred years old and so the buildings don’t have glass windows, only wooden shutters. The woman who was at reception when we arrived was not particularly helpful….. At the time we were staying there, they were building extra rooms and so the place was a bit of a construction zone. The picture posted of the front of the hotel indicates a restaurant on site…note there is no restaurant, but they do provide coffee in the morning.

Great for a nights stay. A bit cold.

A charming little hotel in the charming town of San Sebastian del Oeste. Min was an friendly and helpful host. I honestly think that the experience was even better than I was expecting from other reviews. Our room had a king-size bed and a balcony with cute little wooden tables and 2 chairs. All of the windows in our room had wooden shutters. We could see the top of la bufa from our room (from the window facing the courtyard). We were able to park our motorcycle inside the courtyard so didn't have to be concerned about street parking. Nothing! It was great.

They advertised it was on the Square, but it was just off the square, acceptable Staff was very unwelcoming, could feel the springs in the mattresses poking my ribs, they gave us a room knowing the shower didn't work. There was a cheaper hotel on the other side of the square that we should've gone to. We checked it out while we stayed there much better value at half the price.

Great location- handy to restaurants and sites
-
Old furniture, no bathroom amenities (only 2 soap bars), no bottle water, shower dusty, hard mattress, small mirror.
-
Nice location and priced at $990 mxn per night in late December. We came after sunset and left before sunrise so really just needed somewhere quiet and clean to sleep, which we found here. The hotel allowed us a late check-in. Not much noise other than street traffic from quads and motorbikes. The window isn't screened, so we closed the shutters once we settled and setup a bug net over the bed to keep moths and other insects out of our way. I always recommend installing window screens to hotels like this, a simple adjustment that helps keep both you and the bugs happy. Room was fairly clean but not perfect, the floor was in need of a sweep for sand or dirt.
