Beautiful location. Comfortable, clean rooms. comfortable beds. Hotel was virtually abandoned. The restaurant was closed which we weren't told of in advance. The lights were off on the outside patio so we weren't able to enjoy sitting outside after dark. Lights were also off the entire time in the main communal lounge. Absolutely no service in the hotel apart from handing over the keys to our room. Dirty dishes filled with food were left out in the restaurant (which you had to walk through to access the rooms) for the entire 24 hours of our stay. The young woman who was at the desk was nice but the hotel manager was dismissive and rude when I contacted him/her about these issues. This hotel is supposed to be 5 star and is too expensive for this lack of service and rude management. Save your money and stay somewhere else.

We did not have breakfast, there was a Nespresso machine in the room and apples The restaurant was not up to the French standard we were expecting. The hotel was French owned at one time and the restaurant used to be top notch but the food was mediocre and everything that we tried to order including the wine was not available although still listed on the menus. San Sebastian is at about 6,000 ft altitude and so was very cold and the restaurant was open so had to ask for a blanket, which they provided

Perfect location. Wonderful facilities. Views were breathtaking Staff attention could improve.

Wonderful rooms and facilities great staff. French restaurant on site is excellent, and great views Very pricey compared to everything else in area, rooms are small, breakfast isn't available until 9:00 a.m. the hotel was built right on the only road into town so you hear any truck going by, although it was quiet at night

The views are spectacular, the rooms beautifully decorated and the personnel absolutely charming. Shout outs to Fabrizio, Omar and Angel and our room maid!! Gracias. The location is far from the centre of town but that makes it quiet and beautiful. Sitting on the balcony listening to the birds, the breeze and the roosters was far better than being forced to hear the Easter mayhem in Vallarta. The first morning we were there they could only offer us eggs, bread and coffee. Expensive too but no fruit, no special breads, nothing more. Apparently we were the only guests, five of us. The next two mornings we went down the street for an excellent breakfast. It is expensive to stay so breakfast should be included and better than what they offered us.

Nice place with beautiful views but staff didn’t seem know what they were doing.

Beautiful location, great room, staff were very friendly. Charging $3 per cup of in room coffee. The sewer gas smell in our room. The staff are very friendly and helpful but management has done a poor job of supervising. The staff were lounging around in the front room playing video games and looking at their phones. There is always something to be done in the hotel.

Beautiful place, beautifully furnished, beautiful views, friendly staff, great food. Beyond expectations. The city itself was very disappointing and, frankly, not worth visiting.

The property and gardens are beautiful. The inn has an on site restaurant with a chef. However the restaurant is closed on Tuesday. We did not know this until after check in. The restaurant is closed on Tuesdays. They will prepare you basic food but no menu. I would also recommend bringing your favorite wine. There were stock issues. Also the breakfast is not included in your room fee. Room Internet and TV were not reliable. The common area internet was good.
