Cedar Point's Castaway Bay

Carpet VERY DIRTY & has a horrible smell in the halls!!! Rooms nice size, but needs to be upgraded!!!

From the moment we walked in they were so pleasant and helpful before we came we were trying to figure out what we would do to keep the kids busy they have everything planned out for you where you don't have to leave their building. they had activities they had crafts they had everything we were looking for Under One Roof we didn't have to leave the building for anything we will be returning now one thing I will say that I forgot they still should fix the cable for the parents who have younger kids that need to settle down with something to watch.

Really glad this was my choice of stay in Sandusky! Was really pleased with the resort, indoor waterpark and accessibility to everything we wanted to do. Had a really great time.

The place had alot to offer. The only downfall was the large water slides were not open. Staff was extremely helpful and accommodating.

Don’t get me wrong. The kids loved it so for that I would do it again. It’s just not my cup of tea. The gym wasn’t that great although I’m sure people don’t stay there for the gym they stay there for the waterpark. The waterpark was decent and there was a decent restaurant connected to the property. My biggest concern were just the quality of the room versus everything else. The only other tip I can give is to skip the breakfast buffet for the price and food quality.

I love that it’s kid friendly with still things adults can do to feel Like a kid.they had the characters walking around and they actually enjoyed their selves. All the stuff was wonderful had smiles on there faces and so helpful with anything and everything. This place was clean and all around helpful

The Waterpark and arcade are nice. The hours of the Waterpark and Arcade should be different. You check in at 4 the Waterpark closes at 8 and the arcade at 10. The beds and pillows were kind of uncomfortable. The reception staff messed up my account by charging things they should not have to my bank. We ended up paying for our cedar point tickets twice and it has not been fixed. There should be chairs available on the patio.

The property was old and dated, there were possible blood stains on the bedframe, what appreared to be blood on the women’s bathroom floor, a smoke detector snatched out the ceiling. My son and I woke up with bites and had been bit by something. The front desk staff didn’t seem friendly. The staff inside the water park didn’t seem to be friendly.

Not as clean as I would like. Bathroom was broke. Someone bouncing a ball right above us for hours.

Room floors were extremely sticky and dirty. Furniture was scuffed and aged. No room refreshing. No soap in the bathrooms to wash hands. We ran out of tissues and toilet paper and had to track down staff for trash bags and new towels. The water park was awesome and the common areas were great but for the price of the rooms they need much over due refresh and rooms should be mopped or floors cleaned on occasion.

This place is not good I wouldn’t recommend at all they staff are all rude the food places are nasty they don’t have clean plates when you want to eat

Privacy

Our room had a sticky floor, we were missing soap, and the halls were crazy loud every night, once until 3AM. We also could hear every word of our neighbor's tv all night long.

Everything was geared towards kids and my two granddaughters loved it!
