Ocean Gate Inn

Loved the balcony. Loved the staff especially Bob. He was so kind and reassuring. Inn is so close to the board walk and the view is amazing. I would definitely go again

I stayed with my partner and another couple, and with this group was able to get a really good overall price on the stay. Furthermore, the room (a double queen room with a balcony) was more than spacious and easily accommodated all four of us without any problem. Worth noting however was some wetness on the bathroom floor as well as a sink that would clog, both of which made the stay slightly less pleasant but weren't too bad. Overall, the price, quality, kind staff, and location right next to the most fun parts of Santa Cruz (for a tourist like myself) made this a very enjoyable experience, which I would recommend to anyone seeking a trip there that can stay in a comfortable budget!

It was nice. I am wheelchair bound and the disability access room needs these improvements: Automatic door that I can open and close by myself. I had to ask staff to come open and close the door every time I left or returned. The space between the bed and the rest of the furniture and room needs to be expanded.

Convenient location, walkable to the beach, can be noisy till very late because it's close to the road and boardwalk.

Great location. Clean and updated rooms!

There were many things I did not like about this hotel. We had a balcony but the screen wouldn't stay in. The air conditioner barely worked. The toilet rocked when you sat on it. The room was not clean. Never again.

Staff was friendly and room was nice and clean

They charged me $20 a day for an extra vehicle which is okay but they only want it cash only which was very odd to me which I barely carry anymore I had to argue with the management to take a credit card which they did it just made me think that they were not trying to do for some odd reason

Great location, very nice staff The bed and pillows were uncomfortable and hard and the space was overall a bit run down and dated.
