The location The room was not the cleanest. The lamp had stains. The walls were gross (especially in the bathroom). Signs of mold in the bathroom shower.

The fan in the bathroom didn’t work. Either the owner or manager banged on our door at 9am then OPENED the door while we were asleep. Cleanliness wasn’t terrible but I wouldn’t stay here again until when there are hotels nearby that are the same prices. I paid almost $500 for the night btw.

Great customer service, great location, really close/walking distance to the boardwalk. Room was clean and up to date. I came with my teenage daughter and her friend. It worked out beautifully.

Location was convenient. Only 5 min walk to the beach. Only 5 min drive to downtown. Seemed like there were permanent residents there. Sort of weird to see that.

Outdoor sitting area upstairs, but potted plants were dead. Lots of dead landscaping. Big area where a pool should be all dead. Dirty floors in the room. Front desk Staff hard to understand. Horrible lighting in the bathroom.

The check-in staff was very friendly There was literally partying all night until six in the morning, and the bathroom smelled like a sewer. It was so bad that we only stayed one night.

I stayed at the Torch Lite Inn solo with my two kids, and we had such a great time! The location was perfect for us because we were able to walk to the Santa Cruz Boardwalk and downtown, which made getting around so easy with the kids. The facilities were clean, comfortable, and welcoming. It was a great place for a fun and easy family getaway, and I would definitely stay here again!

Great location, nice front desk clerk. Room was fine except smell in the bathroom. It needs a more powerful fan. It smelled really moldy. No way to air it out.

Comfortable beds. Mexican restaurant around the corner walking distance. Walking distance to the boardwalk. Perfectly placed. All hotels in Santa Cruz are a little used and beachy. Perfectly safe. I will probably stay here next year when we come.

Close to Beach. Clean.. Efficient Note: I was only there Aug 8 checked out Aug 9th Too close to busy traffic intersection and bottom floor not private enough to keep screens up.
