Surf City Inn and Suites

The room was clean but there were a few broken fixtures including the toilet paper holder. There was also only three pillows on our king bed and when we asked for more they said we could come and pick one more up at the front desk. But overall for the budget friendly price you can’t expect to much top tier service.

Staff is limited and they have a kiosk outside for handling most things, Checking in and out, towels, anything needed.

Excellent customer service

Our stay was great however parking was horrible and the hot tub was dirt. I tried calling the front desk 4x I was hung up on then never answered. It was an easy walk to the boardwalk and the size of the room with 3 beds was surprisingly comfortable.

Properties very old paint is not there The only thing I like was close to the ocean that’s all the rooms are not good. It’s old it’s outdated.

Place was great perfect location. Only thing was that staff at front desk was kind of rude and just told you to go to the check in kiosk when I had other questions, they were helpful the one time I needed something tho so not sure what to say abt it. Ac works great rooms and property were very clean and location once again was amazing!

Ok for weekend. Room is just bed, desk and bathroom. Does have a fridge and microwave, no closet. Very minimal bedding and amenities. Room had dust in the ac and not very clean.

There were no towels or hand soap in the bathrooms, even after we requested the room to be reevaluated. There was no shampoo in the shower, it had run out. We were forced to use our own face wash as hand soap. There was no staff in the main office — only a virtual assistant who was not able to resolve the issue.

The only benefit of this hotel is that it is 10minutes away from the Boardwalk/beach. Too many damages that needs to be fixed, cracks in the floors and walls. If you remove an over the range microwave, at least patch up the walls and repaint. Wifi was not working, apps(Netflix/Youtube) in the TV was not working, even when I called twice for assistance, the man at the front desk just kept saying it is not working, when I asked about just casting to the tv(other rooms have it, we know because we would be able to cast to their tvs), he did not know what it meant, said he will come up to assist but never showed up.

We got a 3 queen bed room so it was great with 2 teenagers. Walking distance to the boardwalk. It was pretty noisy and basic amenities but convenient

Close enough to skate to the boardwalk, low price Absolutely no early check-in even upon request and being told it was "availability based". Had to sleep in my car after driving all night to wait for my room. Construction workers who are working on rooms are occupying about 25% of the parking lot all day long. While I was here someone had their tires slashed in the parking lot. There was a lot of noise in the morning, cleaning ladies shouting long before checkout. Overall, you get what you pay for, but this was questionable in my case.

Close to boardwalk Old food left inside,crumbs on floor ,knats flying all over, room felt muggy,sheets had hair and stains , you can tell sheets don't get washed frequently
