West Cliff Inn - A Four Sisters Inn

The location is great, the happy hour food was excellent The room was extremely disappointing, especially compared to other hotels in the same chain. There was no air conditioning, which made the room very uncomfortable on a very hot day. The room itself was also very small, and the windows opened directly onto a shared public balcony that runs around the rooms, meaning there was virtually no privacy. The room also faced a very busy street, making it quite noisy. Overall, the lack of air conditioning, privacy, space, and quiet made the stay very unpleasant, and the experience fell well below the standard I have come to expect from this hotel chain.

Breakfast was excellent, wonderful staff, very clean and excellent location. Should have a grab bar for getting in and out of deep tub.

This place is an absolute gem. Terrific location, charming and with so much attention to the guest’s experience. If I could rate higher than 10 I would.

Very good

The room was very clean and comfortable and we were able to walk to dinner and down to the wharf. The wine and cheese reception was not what I expected. A liter of Woodbridge wine seemed a bit on the blah side. After all, we traveled to wine country. Not at all like we experienced at another place in CA. The breakfast was good, and a water dispenser was great along with hot water and tea available all day/night.

I really enjoyed the location of the property as well as a delicious breakfast that was served in the morning. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The property did not have air-conditioning which at the time I was there was borderline getting warm

Will visit it again.

Beautiful Historic Setting Quality Breakfast

Broken shade. Ackward electrical retrofit. Sticky remote controls. Doors that were difficult to close and open.

The place was very clean. The location was fantastic. The breakfast, wine hour, all day coffee, tea and filtered water were very nice. Plus a home baked chocolate chip cookie in the evening and free parking for one car. Exceptional

Location was great and convenient to west cliff drive walk. The room was very warm and stuffy.

The breakfast was delicious and healthy! They offer a lot of extras like wine and cheese, bikes and beach supplies. The rooms were comfortable and smelled fresh. I only wish there was a chair in my room. Otherwise still a 5-star experience! Fantastic location to getting to a popular beach as well.

This is a great place to stay. It's walking distance to the Warf as well as the Boardwalk. You can also walk to the shops down town on Pacific Ave. I will 100% be staying here again. it's an older building so there is no AC. It wasn't hot when we were there, but I could see it being a problem on a hot day.

Room 12 was amazing

Absolutely gorgeous location. Friendly staff. The room was spacious and comfortable. The wine and cheese was a perfect snack and breakfast was delightful. Do yourself a favor and stay here.
