Tub is slippery. Can use an anti-slipping mat. Can use an security lock inside. No iron or ironing board. Bed service must be requested. One last thing breakfast now is yogurt, instant oatmeal, dry oatmeal mixed, fruit and coffee. Pos: High five to Debby. She was useful and awesome 👏👍 And 2 free cans of water

Great little boutique hotel, quiet! Next to a public park pulled up late no issues.

The room was clean and the bedding was very comfortable. The staff were amazing and super friendly. We had a quick overnight stay on our way back home and this place was excellent. We traveled with our dogs and it was a perfect location with a park right across the street.

The breakfast was good and the staff was more than welcoming! I would happily stay here again, anytime! BTW I realized a few hours after we checked out that I had lost my wallet. I called them and the girl who answered the phone searched our room, found my wallet and put it in a plastic bag for me. I was sooooo relieved! She saved our trip!

Excellent place to stay! Close to downtown. Easy access to buses and stores!

Maybe could use more parking.

Nice property with a retro vibe and funky rooms with the most comfortable bed and sheets we have ever slept in in a motel. We'll be back!!
-
My stay was pleasant. My only suggestion is to make it a full continental breakfast by adding juice and muffins or a bagel.

Absolutely loved staying here!

Oh my, where does one begin!!! I feel that I was completely conned with the whole experience of choosing & making a reservation with the Astro motel. When I looked on Expedia, the property looked great, I thought how fun it would be to stay there as it looked quite retro & charming. Such was not the case! When I pulled up to the property during daylight, I was shocked with how unkept the property looked overall. There was a tattoo & piercing parlor across the street from the hotel. There were homeless people both on the sidewalk and riding their bikes around. The door into the reception area was locked with a note on the door suggesting we call the number for assistance. My mother and I needed to use the restroom, but we could not find anyone anywhere until we noticed a hotel room being cleaned by the maid and asked her to open the door to the bathroom for us… which she did. A quick glance into the bedroom when speaking to the maid, I did not feel good about the cleanliness of the place or the quality of the cart that the maid was using… the first thing that came to mind was bedbugs!!! Of course I have no proof, but the place was funky! My mother and I left, we had no intention of returning for the night. We were in Santa Rosa for my mother’s high school reunion, we went to the reunion and then spent the next couple of hours trying to find another hotel however, none in the area had availabilities due to the fair which was going on. We decided to drive 3.5 hours home instead

Basic accomodations, nothing fancy.

Loved the place, this was my second time staying at the place. However, the breakfast was only yogurt and granola. Coffee was not found anywhere.
-
The staff was amazing and the rooms were clean and the breakfast was great!
-
Definitely a cute, funky place, but unfortunately the funkiness included the room's smell.
-
The staff was friendly and welcoming. The check in process was thorough and efficient. The room was clean, spacious, and had all of the amenities needed for our stay. The free breakfast was excellent and delicious.
-
Loved the theme and decor and the friendly staff
-
We had a room on 2nd floor, and I didn't see an elevator, so if you're disabled, you might want to check about access before going
-
Very clean and dog-friendly. Comfy bed. Enjoyed the decor and design elements of the hotel---wonderful garden with sculpture (and fun Astro Motel tees for sale). Easy self checkout and everyone was very nice.

First, I love the retro/space theme and decor. The motel is super clean, the price was right and the art district location provided a quiet central launch point for local wineries, breweries, food, downtown, etc. There are several outdoor areas to relax on site, and the lounge is a great place to congregate and meet other guests. Wednesday was happy hour there, and Angel was a pleasure to hang out and chat with! Need more hh nights! And of course, if you love the Peanuts comic strip, you must visit the Charles M Schulz Museum only 10 minutes away. I'll stay again upon my next visit to Santa Rosa!
