Hotel Art Santander

Lovely room with a wonderful terrace and sea view. Staff were very friendly. We were happy to walk up the hill from the town centre. We enjoyed the exercise. Others may want to use the escalators on the Calle Lope de Vega.

Well, this hotel is a one-off. Very quirky. Very nice, helpful staff and free parking a big plus. Quite close to the beach, but located on a steep hill (escalators and elevators available for part of the walk). Strange decor and tired furnishings, Well used rooms needing attention and much more attention to cleaning. We had ants in the room. We felt the breakfast was overpriced, so didn't take it, but did visit the gloomy breakfast room and are glad we ate out.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The location of the hotel was very close to all the restaurants and cafes. We reserved a parking space, which turned out to be a space in a garage. Very secure space. We had a balcony which was a nice outside space to get some fresh air. Offered cold drinks water or pepsi, nice touch. No tea coffee making offered in the rooms

The breakfast was not too good. Little choice. The bed was comfortable and the room pleasant. Staff were polite and helpful. The cost of the room had tripled from our last visit a few months ago. The breakfast

Room was massive (502) and very quiet. Had a fantastic view of the whole bay, from its high vantage point. Location was okay but this part of Santander is very hilly and there are a lot of steps down to the main restaurant/bar area. There is an outside lift (clearly often used as a urinal) to get you up or down by two road levels, a couple of minutes from the hotel. Breakfast room/cafeteria need decorating and the furniture needs updating. Breakfast itself was disappointing although there was some very nice apple pie. Could not fit our car in the car lift, to the underground parking, so had to park outside the main entrance. Upon viewing the underground parking it was incredibly tight and only suitable for small cars.

Excellent friendly and helpful staff. We had a great stay and good time in Santander. Thank you for making our stay and trip enjoyable.

Amazing place close to the beach, restaurants. Very good location we can do all the things by walking and it’s not too far from the airport. The guy in the reception was amazing very helpful and kind. So my experience was very good. I really recommend this place. Not to mention, everything was good.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a fab location and view from the room was great. Comfortable bed and great shower. What more do you need. The air con in the room wasn't really cool enough according to my partner but then he does tend to overheat more than others! I thought it was ok. The room was on the small side so with two large suitcases there wasn't a huge amount of room to manoevre.

The room was quiet, as was the neighborhood. The room was also quite spacious and AC worked fine. The shower had barely any water pressure, and one of the shower cabin doors was missing. The beds were so soft as to be quite uncomfortable - at one point I found it preferable to sleep on the floor. The room smelled strongly of damp before we switched on the AC.
