Location Extremely dirty accomodations, poor, old and almost abandoned like stage rooms and bedding clothes. No heating system working for the cold of Santiago

The staff were very supportive when I had my phone stolen while in Santiago city. They let me use the phone to call my daugher and kept checking that I was OK The bathrooms need some attention and the shower took a very long time to heat up

The price paid for the accommodation type was fair. Beds were comfortable and storage space inside the rooms was good. Apart from the Brazilian girls and one guy from Chile at the front desk, the rest of the staff is very dismissive. It’s obvious they’re just there for the free accommodation. The bathrooms could also be cleaner.

It’s quite clear they’re only there for the free accommodation. When I asked about tours, the person at reception responded in a very condescending manner, as if my question was a nuisance—I was simply asking for confirmation of availability. The building is in very poor condition, with constant cracking noises in the floor even when no one was moving. Everything feels old and poorly maintained, and you can hear everything happening outside. The bathrooms were also not properly cleaned. I heard in my last day there they had a gym, but when I checked in nobody gave me any information or showed me the place (as they did with some other women in my room).

The beds were squeaky. Turning while sleeping made a lot of noise. I was in room 17 which was right on the main road. Windows were broken and entire night you can hear noise of vehicles passing. The WiFi in my room was spotty at best. Most of the time it didn’t work well.

Very social and easy to make friends. Tours were offered and they have a fun nightly dinner offered for a good price. 2 kitchens, decently supplied. Property is a lot more run down than what you see in the photos.The showers were inconsistent- the hot water would go out or it wasn’t hot at all. The internet was terrible - max 5mb/s and wouldn’t work at all at night. Location is a bit out of the way and about a 10 minute walk to groceries. Front desk staff was great, but cleaning staff was really unprofessional - knocking on the door even though I had the sign out… another girl was mopping and wouldn’t let me pass even though I said I was starting work (online) and needed to get by. Rooms were poorly ventilated and it was still hot, even at night with the window open and fan going. I can’t really recommend private rooms here :/

The Manager Lady was not kind to me ! She could have been nicer.

It was super fun and friendly. Everyone was warm and it was super easy to connect with other people.

The power went out couple times during my stay though it's not the hostel's fault.
