The location was perfect! My son and I loved the neighborhood, with its beautiful street art, great restaurants, and easy access to major attractions. We always felt safe walking around the area, which made exploring even more enjoyable. The hotel's breakfast was excellent and the perfect way to start each day. The staff was absolutely amazing—friendly, accommodating, and always willing to help. They arranged an early check-in, a late check-out, and assisted with our airport transportation, which was especially helpful since we stayed at the hotel both at the beginning and end of our trip to Chile. Our room was comfortable, spacious, and well-appointed, with complimentary bottled water and a great shower. We enjoyed our stay so much that we canceled the other hotel we had booked for the end of our trip and chose to stay here again instead. I highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again on a future visit to Chile.

Centrally located, nicely decorated, the staff was very helpful - highly recommended! Everything was ok

Location is close to several restaurants and attractions. Breakfast was provided in the morning. Room was comfortable, and bed was also comfortable. Unique older building that is nicely maintained. The hotel, since it is a historic building does not have an elevator. Staff assisted with bags, but may be a factor to consider for some. The area around had lots to do, but didn’t feel comfortable walking around in the night.

Almost everything - room, views, amenities, on site restaurant, security, staff services, walking access to Bellavista and Lastarria barrios and central city museums. No elevator. Room was on 4th floor! Good workout.
-
Excellent location near Cerro San Cristobal, lovely and accommodating staff, delicious breakfast, adorable room that was well-decorated with historic tidbits. They were happy to store our luggage during our trip to Patagonia prior to check-in. Clean facilities, and would absolutely stay here again when in Santiago.

High-end, beautiful furnishings. Attention to detail. Attentive, polite, accommodating staff. Nothing

Incredibly unique place to stay. The Castillo had been upgraded and is beautifully remastered to its original charm.

Prime location, excellent services, beautiful environment, clean rooms and super helpful staff. We loved our stay at this hotel.

It’s everything perfect! Staff, location, accommodations… Nothing.
-
Location, staff, value Water pressure on the 4th floor was very weak, 65 stairs to climb from reception to room.
-
Interesting building with theme-based rooms. Interior design renovation based on historic structure. Lovely interior lounge area filled with books and lots of seating. Great outdoor seating area. Bar in hotel. Bellavista is a bouncy neighborhood, but hotel area is very quiet, also double glazed windows. Attractive pocket park out front. Very close to funicular and zoo.
-
We stayed there earlier in the month and the “wine time” was an hour and, more or less, unlimited wine. They changed it to four hours and only one very skimpy glass. That was VERY disappointing.
-
Breakfast was excellent. Staff were outstanding Our room was adjacent to the beutuful community lounge. But other noisy guests enjoying chatting at 1am in the lounge woke us up, on one night of 3.

Warm welcome, super comfortable, great breakfast.

The staff was exceptional. They went out of their way to be helpful. The rooms were very nice and beds comfortable. The first few days we were there, they had an open wine bar in a lounge area from 5-7 which gave guests a chance to meet one another. This changed midweek to a bar, open 5-9, with just one free drink. I didn’t mind paying for the wine but I really liked the opportunity to chat with others that the lounge provided Some rooms could use better lighting

Setting was cozy and beautiful. Staff at desk and at breakfast were so helpful.

Beautiful historic property

The hotel is charming, clean, in a great location with a wonderful staff. The staff is very attentive and helpful. I am not fluent in Spanish, not even close, however, it is not a problem since most of the hotel staff are fluent in English, my native language. They also have a great Happy Hour everyday If I visit Santiago I stay at the Castillo Rojo. It could be a problem for people that don't like to climb stairs since there are no elevators, however, the staff carry our luggage to our room.

Lovely ambience and the staff were wonderful. The room was elegant and comfortable in a style true to the building. Breakfast was very good as well.
