    I don’t like

Location is really good, close to the metro and open 24 hours. The guy and the lady with short hair at the front desk are very kind. Imagine arriving from an international flight in Santiago and your hostel only accepts USD, CLP, and credit cards. You don't have any, so you ask for a place to exchange EUR (Your country's cards don't work). Someone at the front desk sends you to a street that's 35 minutes away on foot, only to find everything closed. They will tell you they "only know locations, don't know opening hours". Isn't that part of a receptionist's job? I offered to leave the EUR as a guarantee, and they didn't let me check in until I paid, even when my card was taken from Booking (!!!). Having no options, tired, sleepy, with no cash even for food... it was a terrible first encounter. The same staff didn't allow me to use a shower after I checked out, which is something a lot of hostels offer. I would have paid for it, but I received a flat no. Also, the doors in the bathrooms are old and don't close properly. The lockers at the dorms are made out of wood with a lot of slits that make opening possible. I had no hot water in the shower once. The other receptionists made my stay so much better!

    Nothing really

Location is very good. The metro and bust stations are very nearby. There are small supermarkets/eateries are within walking distance. The property is located in a calm and quite neighbourhood. There is no lift in the property. It was a challenge to carry big suitcases to the second floor. It would have been good if soap/shower gel was provided.

I enjoyed my stay here. The single room is tiny (barely enough space to walk around the bed) but it was everything I needed. They organize fun activities (I participated in the BBQ night.) Also lots of advice and tips. Breakfast was really basic. Dry bread and an unripe pear, but I only ate it 1 day.

    - staff very friendly - good location - comfortable bed Lack of basic things even for a hostel : - no soap in the bathroom to wash your hands (over 3 days in the bathroom of my room) - having to ask all the time for toilet paper (only 1 for a dorm of 6) - no plugs in the room close to the beds (there was only one plug that was close to the door you wouldn't leave your phone there so I could not charge my phone overnight) - ventilation system in the bathroom of my room was leaking after taking a shower (it was quite annoying once you were dry to receive cold drops of water on your head or back) - water in the shower not always very hot depending time of day and how many people I guess - would not recommend laundry : very expensive (8000 CLP) and clothes do not seem very clean

    Bathroom / shower needs repair

Location My jacket went missing after switching from one private room to another despite no one else checking into the room after us. Messaged hostel afterward asking if they could check camera and ask around and they stopped responding. No accountability at all. The place is ran like a frat house. Most staff were nice though except one that gave us attitude the second time I came back with my friend and seemed annoyed and uninterested to check us in, whom we believe may have stolen the jacket.

Location and price No accountability, and not very well cleaned

Also the shower does not have pressure and it's corroded

Not the best hostel, I usually give fairly reasonable reviews but this is by far my lowest. I guess some of the advice provided by the hostel saves this from being a one but I didn't enjoy my stay here at all. Very smelly and unpleasant bathrooms. My checkin process was very messy and not smooth at all. My bed was super uncomfortable and noisy next to the window and what seemed to he construction noises. No curtains and a very bright light shining through the window all night. No soap in any of the bathrooms which is pretty poor in my opinion (hand soap should be an absolute must in a hostel). Overall I'd definitely skip this hostel, pretty terrible experience for me and nothing good to say about it. Also small dorm with very little space.
