Clean . Great location

Location was great!! Receptionist did not speak english, and was not very helpful. I was just shown the room and had to figure it out myself where the toilets are and the kitchen. I have been to many hostels so was not an issue but still would have been nice. Place can be a bit noisey due to the neighbourhood, but that did not bother me.

Location, value for money and common areas The location is noisy but nothing to do as it is on the main street. That's the cost for a good location

Loved the vibe, the ping pong table, location, friendly staff and the bed was super comfy. Liked everything!!

Super friendly staff, very cozy, you’ll feel like home. Very close to many restaurants and a french bakery for breakfast. Nothing negative
-
Drug addicted arrogant and aggressive staff, who is not able to understand simple sentences. Is not able to keep the agreements. Shame.

Loved the location, the hostel vibe itself as well as its friendly and helpful staff!

Nice and relaxed hostel. I've stayed here once and then came back again the next time I was in Santiago. It's in a really nice area and feels safe. Each bed has a privacy curtain (although only from one side), a little lamp and a plug. There is lots of communal space to sit, but quiet time is enforced at night which means you can actually sleep. There's basic breakfast available (toast and jam, tea and coffee). The bathrooms were clean and had hot water. There was a locker for your valuables. The first time I stayed I didn't realize there are multiple bathrooms upstairs, because the lady at the desk didn't speak much English and I did not speak much Spanish. Perhaps having some printed intro text would be helpful.

Exceptional

The location, the big common area for eating and hanging out, and the fan in the private double room blocked out any outside noise. The staff were really nice too. Overall we really enjoyed our time there but the place is not without its faults. We just got used to them after a week. The kitchen is really small and with all the guests and the staff cooking in it, it was always crowded. No napkins either and the kitchen sponge desperately needed to be replaced. And while it was nice to have a private bathroom, the shower was a very small awkward tub, and the water temperature was either scalding hot or ice cold.

Nothing The room and bathrooms were filthy and smelly. Rubbish on the floors in the dorm room and dirty bedding on the beds. Left early after 1 night and got a refund on the 2 remaining nights

WiFi in the rooms in the basement had weaker service and kept dropping however WiFi in the other parts of the hostel was great and I didn’t have any trouble. Also, my room butted up to the attached club so we had some room noise at night.
