Ventana Sur Hostel

Gostei muito do hostel, tem cozinha, quartos e estruturas comuns em geral. A propriedade é bem bacana. A cama do quarto que peguei era muito confortável. Tinha aquecedor que voce pode pedir para ligar. O chuveiro era muito bom e tinham locais para colocar as coisas. Vi um comentário que estava vazando água e era só posicionar melhor a cortina, além de deixar a porta aberta para sair o vapor pois deixa o banheiro muito úmido. O atendimento do hostel foi sensacional. Muito atenciosos e realmente preocupados com suas questões. Muito obrigado!! O vaso do banheiro estava entupido desde o dia que cheguei mas não informei porque não fiquei tempo o suficiente para usar muito. A estrutura do quarto não tem nenhum abafador de som, dá para ouvir até a torneira de outros banheiros abrindo.

Honestly. still my favorite hostel in Santiago, by far! Ivan is a superstar. He genuinely loves his work and that shows in his interactions with the people in the hostel (even when some of them are more demanding). His energy creates an incredible family-like atmosphere where everyone feels welcome to interact with other solo travelers, eat together, chill together and more. This was my 3rd time in the hostel and everything is as I remember - clean spaces, rooms, spacious dorms, huge private room, nice pool and outside area, great kitchen, always available toilets/bathrooms. Bonus: The neighbourhood is probably the most interesting, while still being super safe ones in Santiago. It's got good coffee, food, vibes and more all within a few blocks. I plan to be back everytime I spend a few days in Santiago.

This place is amazing, especially for solo travelers. It's set up in a way that makes it really easy to hang out in the central garden space, and everyone just chats and goes out together. The pool's also great for a hot day. The location is AMAZING. I love the Italiano neighborhood. It's super safe to walk around at night. The breakfast is huge and filling. I liked it so much I came back. Nothing.

Lovely folks hosting, great location. The pool is fab. Such a homely feel, brilliant all round. A few tiny tweaks could improve this brilliant hostel - for example shelves inside the shower in the shared bathroom, so you can bring your toiletries in without having to put them on the floor.

Everything. Wonderful oasis in the most interesting part of Santiago (Barrio Italia). Ivan the owner is a very nice person and speaks English fluently. The rooms were clean and the breakfast delicious.

Amazing hostel! Would’ve loved to stay longer. In a great location, right amongst the bars and restaurants of Barrio Italia. Beds are super comfortable and the pool is so great to have after a day in the hot sun. Sitting around the backyard at night drinking wine and piscos makes it so easy to meet people and make friends. Iván is the real star and he goes out of your way to make you feel at home. Definitely coming back!
