Hyatt Centric Santo Domingo

There was a big column in my room. Make it smaller and different from advertised.

The staff were very helpful and upgraded us to a higher room because there was early morning noise coming from the exercise studio on the second floor. The rooftop pool bar was a fun place to hang out. The staff and view at the bar were special. Even on the 8th floor, we heard the thumping of the music from the exercise classes at 8am. It’s unfortunate because everything else about the hotel is very good.

The hotel is new, the odor in every floor makes you feel in a Spa. Good location. The breakfast was ok, I was expecting a more local option. definitely is a good option for bussines and solo travellers. The pool have a fantastic view. The staff looks at you, not as a guest but as an intruder. Like you are paying a very high price for it including the General Manager that is not welcoming nobody. the hotel is not alive and you do not feel welcome. However 3 of the Staff were very nice 2 of them from F&B and 1 of them from reception makes the different. Also, I did not like that the hotel is together to a corporate building and you have to change elevators every time you go to your room.

I love the place everything was perfect That i didn’t have more time to stay and enjoy the pool

Rooftop lounge and pool. Room was also very nice. Service was high quality and very welcoming and friendly. The lobby location is a bit unusual on the second floor but everyone made sure we got to the right place.

The rooms and property is nice, its close to everything in Piantini and its a very enjoyable property to stay in. People checking us in were very nice and overall it felt like a great experience. Checkout experience was horrible. Asked them to send me business invoice, they did not. Vallet was not avaliable during checkout had to go downstairs and check out. A few times the room was not cleaned until we asked.

Staff attention and facilities. Breakfast was awesome!

Hermoso hotel

The room are too small

The ambassador suite we had facing the boulevard was spacious and modern. Initially they gave a a suite facing an empty parking lot with an ugly building view. Then they switched us to the ambassador suite on 10th floor.

Great hotel, clean room , great amenities, shall again 5* accommodation
