The Billini Hotel has truly become our home away from home. Celebrating our 22nd wedding anniversary—and renewing our vows there—was magical, just like the previous stays (yes, we’re at about seven visits now!). The staff always goes above and beyond, and the food is consistently top-notch. My family and friends were blown away by the experience. The newer champagne bar is a lovely addition, offering little tapas perfect for relaxing outside. We’ve always adored the cathedral view rooms (where we first fell in love with the hotel), but the owner’s suite is now our go-to. Oh, and their mojitos? Absolute favorites—they pack a mighty punch! The rooftop pool and stargazing at night really seal the deal—the vibes are spectacular up there! And their pizza spot offers an incredible variety—our favorite was the olive and tapenade pizza! There is also a Cafe below the pizza shop that has coffee and the most amazing pastries!! Plus, you can’t beat the Colonial Zone for location— Steps away from shopping, restaurants and bodegas. The ONLY reason I did not give the Billini a 10 was because the water was not hot on demand and there were no washcloths daily. These are thw tiniest things to such an AMAZING PROPERTY, STAFF and LOCATION.

The room was nice You can hear noise from everywhere so if other guests are loud at the pool I could hear it on the 2nd floor. The face towel situation was very bad. The staff acted like they would bring it but never did

The location I had to move to a lower-quality room because the noise from the people at the hotel bar was unbearable. In the case of my in-laws, there was no quieter room available, so they had to stay where they were and spent a large part of the night unable to fall asleep. The bed was very uncomfortable in both cases. There was no bath mat to step out of the shower, and overall, this is not a hotel I would return to. The so-called “deluxe view” does not really exist. When you open the window, it is completely covered by trees, which is not unpleasant, but the view they advertise and charge extra for in that type of room is not real. Right outside the room I was given to reduce the noise was the breakfast area, so it was also quite busy early in the morning. The staff was good..

We did not receive towels daily, yet the housekeeping staff took the towels each day. They were not replaced as needed. We were told several times we would receive face towels. And we continued to have to ask. There was a linen shortage apparently. But we would have rather kept the old towels if the hotel could not replace with clean linen. Several staff smirked at me when I asked about face clothes and an iron.

The staff was friendly and property was clean. The internet is / Wi-Fi is beyond horrible. The internet in my room didn't work the entire time. They had support staff and technicians try to resolve it and in the end there was no resolution. They provided no wash rags after multiple request. All they provided was hand drying towels.

Such a beautiful hotel in a wonderful location. We stayed there twice. I especially liked the plaza outside next to the church, where you could sit and have breakfast from the hotel …or go to the cafe next door. The staff was exceptionally nice and helpful. I also really appreciated the service from the taxi service they work with, Felix Tours, who took us to and from Las Terrenas and offered us water, cough drops (we needed them), good music, and good conversation. There was one morning when the hot water didn’t work so not sure what happened.

Great location with friendly staff. The door had trouble closing, and there wasn’t other guest at the restaurant.

Everything!! , friendly & helpful staff, clean, amenities, location, price, beyond my expectations Everything was great

  • Engine customer Dec 2025

The room itself was nicely designed, clean, and comfortable, and the water pressure worked well throughout the stay. The staff was kind and polite, and the hotel maintains a pleasant boutique atmosphere that fits well within the historic area. The price felt far too high for what was offered. The cathedral view was disappointing and not worth the premium, it mostly faced a brick wall and was not impressive at all. The lighting in the room also worked oddly, which affected the overall comfort and experience.

The rooms are spacious and luxurios. Coffee, cable tv, shampoo etc. All provided. Very relaxing in a historical setting. Breakfast superb Luke warm water, a hot shower would be welcomed

Special attention to guest and their accommodations Everything was exceptionlly excellent

I loved the architecture, room design, location, and comfortable lounge sitting area. The staff were lovely. Nice rooftop area for dinner seating. The a/c worked great. The food was mediocre, the pillows were poor quality. My shower would not stay on, but kept reverting to the handheld which was annoying. Also, the checkout process was slow when I asked for a printout.

    Bed was uncomfortable.

  • Engine customer May 2025

The layout of the hotel with its small waterfall, rooftop pool and garden, gives it a very private small boutique hotel feeling. The breakfast was plentiful with a variety of choices to eat. Nothing, it was a perfect stay.

I love the location the room(Owner's Villa is amazing). Staffs were courteous and polite. Love everything about the hotel and will recommend it to my friends and family. Nothing.
