Couldn't get the TV to work to watch the world cup soccer game

Such a great place to stay while visiting the colonial Santo Domingo. We especially loved the courtyard and pool. Breakfast was really outstanding. Staff was very friendly and kind.. Highly recommended to get the feel of Old Santo Domingo. We would return if we do visit again.

The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. As I had to leave early in the morning, they kindly arranged an earlier breakfast for me, which was greatly appreciated. The service throughout my stay was excellent, and the staff consistently went out of their way to ensure I had a pleasant experience.

Super clean and cozy, very tropical set up with pool and walking distance from the plaza and all amenities in the local area. Nice little bar, but not sure if it was operational or we needed to call an attendant to serve.

Loved this place!! I was welcomed by Jordan who was super nice and friendly. The hotel is super well decorated and has a nice traditional feel while being modern and well maintained. The highlight of my stay was the breakfast. I only stayed for one night but I wish it was more. The manager (whose name I am forgetting) is also the cook, I believe. The breakfast was INCREDIBLE. Several courses and options but what made it feel so great was the level of service. He explained each option and dish and made the whole thing feel like an experience. Loved loved loved it!

Everything. My DR trip as a whole was pretty disappointing. This hotel, the staff, Santo Domingo...everything about this hotel helped with buffering some of my disappointment. It was an amazing respite. I am so so glad I decided to stay here. Nothing.

The breakfast is really exceptional. Very Comfortable and clean rooms, located near to all the main sites. I can really recommend this place.

The staff was super nice and kind. And the location is amazing.

The place was old world charm at best and the walking distance to all shopping and food . The rooms were small. 3 people in the same room 2 adults + a teen. 3 beds right next to each other was like sleeping in a hostel.

Hotel needs more serious attention of the hotel manager.

Staff very helpful and responsive prior to arrival Close to restaurants and staff made great referrals. Staff very helpful with arrangements for taxis Lamp was very close to bed and got knocked off during the night and broken. Cost to replace was voluntary , however I believe we were charged for two lamps not one?

Location very attentive gentleman at the breakfast area.The food was good and the service excellent ,like a 5 stars hotel.... Got charged $71 extra for products I thought were ok to take like shampoo ,make up remover pads … Will call manager to see if it can be resolved .I don’t have a problem being charged extra for removals of shampoo,even though it should be free because it is expected to be used by guest BUT it should be mentioned somewhere when we are being charged for removal of shampoo etc…in the US ,I have never experienced similar issue .i have the highest rating in booking.com

Such a quaint, secluded spot with great staff. We loved the decor, art, tiled floors, and refreshing swimming pool. Very clean and exceptional breakfast. Highly recommend!
