Puri Sading Hotel

Puri Sading is a 'Go To' for us in recent trips to Bali. It is the laid back Sanur area where there are many restaurants, bars and shopping experiences. We just love the location and wee impressed by the recently completed restaurant/cafe with either airconditioned or open street front areas. The service, food and particularly the coffee matched the quality new surroundings. We will be back ! Decor is a little tired. Water pressure was not to strong, but adequate.

Booked room with terrace but got room upstairs. Asked to change rooms as our grandma wasn't able to take all the stairs and had to pay extra for it. Room was small and quite run down... bathroom old. For the price we ended up paying I expected more quality. Location in itself is great but hotel has little atmosphere.

Love the traditional building and the surrounding. Room windows and door are small, then again it is a traditional building, we understand.

Breakfast and the staff were amazing. Pool is small but it's traditional balinese small hotel. Location is easy walk to the beach and good bar's, warungs close by.

Everything was great. The hotel is very cozy, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the location is convenient. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing, which made our stay very enjoyable. There was nothing significant to complain about. Everything met our expectations.

I like the upstairs room in the large balcony, the breakfast and we enjoyed the pool. The staff was quite friendly and although it’s not a busy street it was pretty quiet at night. we worried about children playing in the pool without adults, but I don’t know who’s fault that is

This place punches above its weight.. great value for money. Clean, great location and good pool area with affordable food and drinks. Bonus for me too.. the swimmers I left here in August were still in lost property! Nowhere else in the world would that happen! Thank you again Ari, Ayu and staff for a great stay, I'll be back again for sure!

The staff was really helpful and friendly. They filled our bottles of water on request. They even gave me some Betadine for a scar I had. The location is super convenient, close to everything. As part of the ongoing renovations, the second day we had to eat breakfast by the pool. It was fine, but really hot.

Very quiet location but right in the middle of great Resaurants and shopping, older style Hotel with authentic Balinese feel and hospitality. Footpaths are under repair for along the whole street and present a daily challenge to access some shops and Restaurants.

The place is a hidden gem. Great location, great breakfast, bar prices are cheaper than surrounds. 5-10 minutes walk north to icon mall or 5 minutes south to local mall. Rib restaurant next door has outstanding food.

The positives of this hotel are its location and the friendliness of housekeeping staff, not the reception staff. When we arrived, I could only compare the site photos of the hotel as a bait and switch, I have added photos that I took for you to compare. The hotel desperately needs some TLC. I appreciate the dining room/restaurant is being renovated, but that aside, the bar where the morning juices etc are served is dirty. The poolside daybeds are dirty, pillows in the rooms are old, hard and lumpy. Shower curtain in the bathroom with a slow draining shower. We were at best treated as an inconvenience and the reception staff were rude.

- As many others have commented, the staff was very very friendly and helpful. A big thank you especially to Ari, who not only answered our many questions before and during our stay, but also helped us organize a driver for trips outside of Sanur. Another staff member tried to help us figure out where to get gluten free bread. And everybody, in general, was very nice. - The new, refurbished restaurant is still not open, but good, economical food is still available, to have in your room or around the pool. Purified water was readily available all day. - For breakfast, we could choose among American, continental or Indonesian breakfast. Fresh fruit, eggs, toast, croissants, pancakes, fried rice were among the options. - The hotel is close to many restaurants and to the Icon shopping center. - The hotel has a generator! there was a long black-out all over Bali one day and we kept our lights and our air conditioning. - There is a cabinet full of books in English and other languages for guests to read and borrow. - we knew that there would be a 10-minute walk to the beach, but we had not realized how uncomfortable it would be under the sun. It's a shame that we couldn't walk straight to the beach through the resort in front of the Puri Sading (we tried it once, and security staff checked on where we were going). - as somebody else noticed, often there were not enough sand beds and umbrellas around the pool for people wanting to use them. - the air conditioning was directed right to the bed, which made it a bit uncomfortable - the shower could have used with a strong clean to take away the mold (also on the shower curtain)
