The breakfast choices

Very nice rooms, great bed, very clean, food was very good. Seems there is a lot of new staff that are lacking training, especially reception and the pool bar.

The resort is surrounded by lush greenery and offers a peaceful atmosphere just steps away from the beach. The room was spacious and clean, with a beautiful sunrise view over the sea. The location is very convenient, close to various restaurants and easily walkable. Our kids especially enjoyed the cycling activities and the well-designed swimming areas. The staff were warm and attentive, and the iconic lobby gives a very special first impression. Would definitely love to return.

We stay at a lot of hotels, and my husband does a stellar job of finding interesting places on our travels. However, the Meru at Sanur Beach, Bali, is an architectural marvel. I love all of the wood, water elements, landscaping, and clean lines. It is somehow both innovative and blends with more traditional design. It all very calming. These photos are only glimpse. Everything exceeded expectations. No complaints.

What an amazing experience from the welcoming until the goodbyes. We went to multiple hotels during our honeymoon and by far The Meru Sanur was the best of them all. The staff are very nice and always smiling and welcoming. The breakfast is very delicious. The interior design of the lobby and rooms are top notch loved everything about it.. The only downside is how far our room from the lobby was

This was a beautiful property that was very well maintained with beautiful architecture and grounds! Felt very luxurious. Little bit of a long walk to the far end but not that bad.

Everything, from the staff, facilities, breakfast. We loved everything and had a great time. Theres nothing not to like. Maybe you can have a few more vegetarian options in your in room dining.

love the tropical look with all the beautiful foliage room was too far from the restaurant and lobby
-
The size of the room. A long walk from lobby entrance to the lobby and even further to the rooms location. Take a long time to get our car every time because their valet service is so slow. Better to call from the room, so that when we reach the entrance, the car is there.

All 3, of my kids got ear infections from the pool. We had to cancel our planned dive trips as a result. I can’t recommend this resort until they fix that.,

Plesant stay at The Meru. The room was incrdibly spacious, clean perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring Bali. What stood out the most was the lush garden a peaceful charm to the whole atmosphere. The breakfast buffet had al lot of options.. Walkable distance to nice places to eat by the beach.. Getting there is a bit of a hassle , only one entry point having to pass through a specific area to reach the hotel. Just be prepared d for some extra time getting in and out.

High standard of 5 star resort. Spacious, clean room, friendly & polite staffs, good breakfast with wide food varieties. Staffs are quick in responding to our quest. Each room has walk in wardrobe & dressing table, good gym & swimming pools, plenty of complementary activities, free bike rentals etc Room & Rosa restaurant lights too dark at night. Shower head very rigid, cannot move up & down, overhead rainwater device has insufficient water supply & takes long time to rinse off shampoo & shower gel.

Room interior and size are very good. Swimming pool is clear and well maintained. Service! Especially in restaurants. I checked others’ reviews before deciding to book at this hotel, and there were a lot of complaints about this matter. I was thinking that others’ guests’ complaints wouldn’t happen to me, and I was wrong. We had dinner at the hotel’s restaurant. The guest service let us be seated. We waited for 10 minutes, and no one came to give us the menu. Then finally, we got the menu, ordered food for me and my family. It took ages for the food to be served. I saw servants pouring drinking water to other guests but always skipped my table. I asked for water and took 3 times for me to request it. I saw new coming guests getting welcome bread, but we didn’t, so we asked for welcome bread, and they didn’t serve it until we finished our meal. So we decided not to take it and asked for the bill. They came straight forward with the bill, and I signed the bill to be charged to my room deposit. Then again, they asked me to wait for them to check on their system, and again they didn’t come back at all! They kept us waiting. The next morning, we took breakfast. The guest service let us be seated and asked what kind of drink we wanted to be served. We asked for a latte coffee, and the coffee didn’t come till we finished our breakfast. Service in the restaurant must be reviewed thoroughly.

We stayed in a premier suite. A quality room! Bed was super comfortable and we were able to order additional foam pillows. Being a fairly new resort all of the amenities look like the pictures. It was not too busy during our stay (Early April). Right on the beach - a great spot to watch the Sanur Sunrise. The spa is still temporary based in hotel rooms, as they construct the day spa. We were told the Resort Pool was adults only and signs indicate this but this was not something we experienced during our stay.
