Perfect for the start of a solo adventure from the UK. The room was enormous for me and the spa room adjoining was a wonderful surprise with a bath too. The treatments included with my booking were fantastic! Highly recommend the massage, facial and body scrub. The gym was excellent! I loved the variety of kit and open anytime. The beach is 10 mins walk too for sunrise. Food was great. I'm vegan and they would amend meals for me as was limited choice otherwise. Thoroughly enjoyed breakfast too and the juices. Hopefully will be back again as was so beautiful here and wonderful people.

Facilities

We enjoyed the quiet surroundings, we had 3 big pools and there was never anyone else swimming, the gym is out of this world, the Butler service is perfect, the staff is the best we have ever come across, we could order breakfast the evening before, so there was never any wait, the surroundings with the rice fields are beautiful. As we had free massages included the Spa Lady was tops, very friendly like all of them. We ate at the Restaurant every night and tye food was always good and we never had any problems. This resort will be our go to place for our future Bali visits. To be honest I do not know.

There's nothing I didn't like

The resort is a little oasis in the middle of the caos, the staff is gentle and professional. I really recommend staying in the resort and have a good time.

Privacy, space, rural view, huge private pool. Amazing helpful staff. Well designed villa, extreme clean . Quiet location. Lovely watching bats of all species and crazy soap opera of sparrows each day. We even saw a Balinese porcupine make its way across the front of our villa. Working rice paddies were spectacular. Good breakfast, every wish granted. Location a little isolated, but could still book grab cars to where we needed to go. Some room furniture a little aged but given Bali climate that’s understandable! Menu a little limited, again understandable given the resort was very quiet.

The Villa was outstanding in terms of space, facilities & comfort. The staff were courteous and couldn't do enough for you

The gym is best. Very large and fully equipped. Pools are nice and long. The rooms have good views. The included massages are divine. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Breakfasts are just average. They need a better cook, I think.

The samata was very clean and the staff really friendly and helpful. It was so peaceful and just what we needed for a few days to recover from long haul flight and jet lag. It was raining a lot but we still swam in the pool and relaxed. The massage was excellent. Thank you

On our arrival we were greeted by our host and provided with information on the villa and all surrounding tourist areas we could explore. The staff looked after us so well nothing was too much trouble for them so many beautiful smiles from them everyday. We all loved the beautiful layout of our villa so spacious more than we could have wished for. The pool was fantastic so large and clean and the various sitting and sun bed areas around the pool just awesome. The restaurant on-site served great breakfast, lunches and dinners. A huge thankyou to the staff! The ambience is incredible two huge pools, gorgeous well maintained gardens. Last but not least the gym was the best we have ever encountered on our 14 trips to Bali. So many machines and space for a great workout then to top it off a pool for a dip if required! We will definitely will be back thank you so much Samata? Just one thing was it was a bit removed from a lot of restaurants and shops so you did require transport. Although if you wanted to visit safari Park, tubing and other activity's it was much closer than being in the heart of Sunur.

This place was amazing! Had everything you need breakfast was great and also the dinner menu. Swimming pools and gym were perfect to use during holiday. The service and people had always a smile. The only downside was that the 2 bedroom villa were apart. You had to walk outside to get to the room. So traveling with young children can be an issue but we managed.

It is the perfect place to rest and restore. Peaceful and relaxing. Nothing everything was perfect

It's a beauty. Fantastic view with the pools and huge space in the rooms. Service smooth and delicious meal options, good vine selection. Very clean and not over crowded. Also the billiard room and the huge fitness room are just perfectly arranged Well, the street behind, the noise sure is the other side of the beauty of this place. Get enough wine and you sleep anyway..

A very relaxing resort with very attentive and friendly staff. The quality of the daily massage included in our booking was excellent. The resort had a very well equipped gym. The restaurant food was of a high quality and well presented. Whilst the resort is in Sanur it does take approximately 20 minutes to reach the bustling seafront tourist area by taxi because of heavy traffic. This didn’t pose any problems for us as we had plenty of time and were happy to relax at the resort for most of it.
